"The bride may now enter."
They were wearing a beige fitted gown with a curvy fabrics at the skirt for designs.
He reached his arms to me and I gladly cling to it when I finally reached the the altar. We smiled at each other like we're the happiest people in the world.
Today, our love ones and our Almighty will witnessed our love for each other. I can't wait to our exchanging of vows until we signed our marriage papers to kissing each other in front of everyone and to finally dance with him---to have a family with him.
With the man I love.
"I, Cyril Jan Caneda, take thee, Stephanie Louisse Urquia, to be my wedded wife, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge thee my faith." He stopped for a moment, letting go of my hand for a second to wipe his tears.
"Tears of joy, lang." He whispered but can still be heard by everyone because of the microphone.
"Ever since I met you, I prayed to God that I hope, you're the one meant for me. Walang palya kong hinihiling na sana, ikaw ang nakalaaan para sa'kin. But you know what's the most wonderful thing I learned about loving you?" His soft chuckle was such a music to my ears. "It's that when I realized that when I love someone, I will let them go. If they come back, then it's meant for me."
"You're meant for me, baby." His voice were full of emotions that I could hardly breath properly just by hearing those words. It makes my heart beats faster but still make me feel at ease.
He slid the silver wedding ring that has an infinity design with a few cute diamonds in it. He stared at it for a moment while I just can't help but to stare at his face.
When it's finally my turn to say my vow, he looked at me with his sparkling eyes. We both can't hide our smiles as we expressed our love for each other--and our tears just don't know how to stop. Even our families and friends were also crying out of joy now.
"I, Stephanie Louisse Urquia, take thee, Cyril Jan Caneda, to be my wedded husband, to have and to hold from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death do us part, according to God's holy ordinance; and thereto I pledge thee my faith."
I slid the silver ring on his ring finger, smiling endlessly even until it's finally been wore. "I don't know what more to say, but I promise that I'll try my best to be the best wife, partner, and a mother to our future children. I love you."
"Let's now clap our hands to our newlywed couple, Mr. and Mrs. Caneda." The priest announced happily. It was then followed by a loud applause when he announced again. "You may now kiss the bride."
It lasted for a few seconds but our love one's applause and cheers were still not done even until we reached our reception venue.
We're already done eating the cake and drinking the wine together.
We decided to have our venue here at the Royal Mandaya Hotel dahil ito rin ang pinili ng parents namin. They designed it with with a beige and white fabrics anywhere. White roses flowers that were blended with sunflowers were present too.
It's simple yet elegant. Closed area 'yung pinili namin and it's airconditioned. Masarap din 'yung buffet na hinanda nila especially the wedding cake.
Everything's just too perfect. I couldn't even ask for more. God gave me a lot of blessings already. These were more than enough.
"My wife, can I dance with you?"
We were dancing like we're just the only people in the venue. But then, minutes later, our family and friends started to dance with their partners too.
LJ with Ynna, Dr. Kai with Dra. Ayen who seemed surprised and confused on why did the guy offered her a dance with him when he can't remember her.
Meanwhile, Laurie's just on the other side. She's taking our pictures and the one who's doing the cheering. She may looked like happy and well but she's really not. Her eyes were not smiling for the man she loves left without her even having the chance to tell him about how she feels.
"I hope Laurie will get married to." I told my husband while we're still dancing. It's a slow dance. My arms are wrapped around his neck while his hands were on my waist.
"Then let's attend their wedding and make our child be friends with her." I can't help but to smile widely while talking about our future.
"Whatever makes you happy, baby." Cy replied, kissing my forehead after.
I was once wished to forget my dark and painful past. I once asked the heavens to erase all my bad memories and will just let me to have a new fresh life.
But I will be forever grateful that they never listened to those wishes. Because those pains and sufferings were the one who took me to this wonderful life now. They were the reason why I found my path again--on why I found the man meant for me.
This is Stephanie Louisse Urquia Caneda, now finally ready to be a wife and a mother to our future children.
