"Y-Y/n, p-please go to prom with me!" Shigeo stammered with a heavy blush flaring on his usually pale cheeks. He brought out a single rose and gave it to you shyly. Your cheeks reddened as well as your heart picked up pace and hands starting to get clammy.
"S-Sure.." You agreed in a daze. Prom was approaching fast. You didn't expect for Shigeo (nor anyone for that matter) to ask you out for prom. But yet, here you are- Shigeo holding out a single rose to you and blushing as he asked you, and you specifically, to be his date for prom.
"R-really??" He asked you excitedly as a cute grin settles on his face. Your blush deepened and you only nodded. "Meet you on Friday at 7:30 pm then?" Shigeo gazes at you with a bright shine in his black-jet eyes.
"Y-Yep!!" Shigeo then waved you goodbye and walked his way to home with a skip in his step. A moment of silence then ensued until a thought rang in your head.
'I just got myself a date.'

"Ouch! Stop tugging my hair so roughly, mom!" You complained as you instinctively reached out to your "abused" hair. Your mother gently swatted away your hand with an apologetic smile. "Sorry, dear! I'm just so excited about your prom date!" Your mother heartily giggles.
"Just don't tug my hair out, please..?" You pleaded with crocodile tears coming out of your eyes. Your mother chuckled and reassured you she won't. After a few more touches, she finished tidying up your hair.
"Voila! You're all set!" She huffs triumphantly and sets her hands on her hips as she looked at you. Your hair was neatly groomed and shined against the bright lights of your bedroom. Your dress/suit having no traces of creases or folds whatsoever and fitted your frame perfectly.
Your mother clasped her hands and excitement and pride glistened in her eyes ever so brightly. "Lemme take a picture!! Just for the memories!" She smiled and frantically searches for her phone. You sweatdropped at your eccentric mom. "S-Sure..? Just don't take long..."
You shifted your gaze at the clock that hung on the wall of your bedroom. 7:20 pm, it read. Slight panic and paranoia brushed your conscience but you paid no mind to it and reassured yourself that you'll be on time.
"Mom, can we please hurry up? I don't want my date to wait for me for long..." You quietly said as you rubbed your arm, a habit you developed back then every time when you were nervous.
"Sure, honey! Just give me a second- aha!" She let out a small victory, "yes" and turned to you. "Smile!!" She happily chirps as she pressed the button. The phone sounded out a small, "click!" noise and a photo of you smiling with your hands folded behind you appeared in her gallery shortly after.
"Okay, we're good now! Now go!! Your date is waiting for you!" She ushered you outside. "Okay, okay, I'll go!! Geez- you don't have to push me!"
You went out of your house and bid farewell to your mom with a small wave and a smile. Just a few minutes after your mother shut the door, a black car came into view.
The black car's door opened and Shigeo quickly but carefully stepped out of the car. He wore a pristine white tuxedo that complimented his now tall stature beautifully and a black tie to pair. He had gone through a sudden growth spurt over time and now stands at a height of 5'9; with you only being a few inches shorter than him.
(Fun fact, Shigeo is actually 5'1 in the show! So cuteee~)
The moment he laid his eyes on you, he felt as if cupid's arrow has struck him a bunch of times. His throat went dry and his stomach fluttered with butterflies as he gaped at you, his face slightly flushing. You shyly waved at him and approached him.
"Shall we go?" You smiled at him as you showed him your hand. He takes your hand with a smitten smile and guides you to the car. He shuts the door for you and went to the driver's side of the car. With that, the two of you drive off to prom.

After arriving at the venue where the school prom was held, the two of you stuck together as much as possible to avoid getting lost or carried away and fortunately enjoyed your prom night. The two of you are currently outside; enjoying the night's full moon and the cold breeze.
"Today was rather... exhilarating, am I right?" You chuckled as you nudged Shigeo's side. He laughed softly. "You can say that again..! I'm not really a party person..." He shyly smiles as he scratches his cheek. You noticed that he was hiding his hands behind his back. A habit he developed whenever he was nervous.
"Hey, why so nervous, Shigeo?" You asked him in concern, patting his back. He flinches at your touch. Curse you for reading him like an open book!
"U-Uh... I was wondering if... We could dance here.." He muttered in a low voice but it was enough for you to pick up. Wasting no time, you grabbed his hands and squeezed them tenderly. "Of course we can!" You said in agreement- well, more like yelled.
Shigeo blinked in surprise at your response. "Then..." He laid his hand on his chest and bowed before looking up and offering his hand to you. "May I?" He charmingly smiled. (Oh shi-)
"Why of course!" You smiled back at him before bowing as well and taking his hand. The two of you then start to dance. The bright full moon and the glistening stars that decorated the night sky being your only audience.
Feeling the fatigue slowly settling in, Shigeo twirled you once more before dipping you down and kissing you softly as the finishing touch. Your eyes widened and cheeks reddened; amazed at the softness of Shigeo's lips. But you lingered no further and gladly kissed him back.
The two of you finally break the kiss after like, probably an eternity. After letting kiss sink into his mind, Shigeo blushes profusely and stuttered out incoherent words.
"Ican'tbelieveIjustdidthatohmygod-" You cut off his rambling with your laughter. "Oh my lord- Shigeo, it's okay! Really!" You reassure. "B-But that was your first kiss and-"
You peck his cheek. "I'm glad that you're my first!" You smiled sweetly at him. Shigeo felt his body go light and straight-up fell face-first to the ground.
Let's just say Shigeo slept like a baby that night~ ^-^
