I opened my optics. Somehow, I was carried to recharge beside Heatwave. He is still in recharge peacefully. I smiled.

It was about 9 o'clock in the morning when I heard a scream. A. Bloody. High-pitched. Scream. Both Heatwave and I opened our optics facing each other. We quickly sat up and rushed outside. It was just Dani talking to the other Rescue Bots. When they saw us, their eyes/optics lit up, except for Chase. He ain't that kind of bot. "Heatwave, with all due respect, how did you manage to carry Miku in the middle of the night?" Chase asked. The rest were giving us weird looks. I wasn't feeling comfortable at all. "It's just a night. She got worn out worrying about me," Heatwave helped me break the awkwardness.

The alarm blared. Phew. We went back to the garage. "Thousands of emergencies in a row, that's odd," I said. "Miku! Thank goodness. We thought you went missing. That's why we rang the alarm," Cody exclaimed. "Sorry, I was in recharge somewhere else," I said, glaring at the Rescue Bots. I hope that they get the message, or else- "She was with Heatwave at night," Blades blurted out. I glared at him. I'm going to kill him someday. "What?" Cody asked in shock. "Miku, a word?" Chief Burns called me.

I was in my human form with my proper attire. "Just a question of curiosity: Do Cybertronians fall in love?" Chief asked. I giggled nervously. "What do you think?" I asked.

"What did Chief ask?" Heatwave asked me after I came out from the room.

"Nothing," I smiled.

"I know that face. Don't you dare lie," he said.

"Really, it's nothing," I said with my most truthful face.

"Miku..." Heatwave growls.

"Okay, okay. Fine. I'll whisper it to you," I said, motioning for him to lower down. His optics were wide open. I laughed.

"Did you tell Chief about last night?" Heatwave asked, cutting me off.

"No, I didn't want to be made fun of," I replied.

"Same here."

The rest of the day was rather weird. Heatwave was training himself (sorta) as usual. I would watch him do so while writing down some war stories for the Cybertronians who still follow me online (as usual). Blades was talking with Dani (he doesn't really do that, neither does Dani, they only hung out at weekends). They were giggling, while observing Heatwave and I in our 'natural habitat'. Chase and Boulder were doing their own thing, except that they always come back staring at me. Cody is with his dad out at the park. Graham is studying while Kade is out on a date with Hayley.

"Miku~" Dani called.

"Yes?"

"Can you stand up?"

What? I don't get it. I did what she asked me to do anyway.

Dani proceeded to throw a huge bucket of water on Heatwave from my direction. She kicked the bucket close to me and yelled "IT WAS MIKU!" I know for a fact that Heatwave dislikes being pranked on. He groans and turns around. I gulped. It wasn't me, but I didn't get the courage to tell him. Probably because he looks like he was about to explode. Suddenly, he smirked.

Uh oh.

He aimed for me and sprayed water at my direction. I was equipped with water as well at my servos, same as Heatwave's. When he was done spraying to his Spark's content, I sprayed back. He seemed shocked, like he never expected that. "Graham gave me these for a reason," I laughed. This is the first time I have ever seen him laughing at this kind of situation.

Chase and Boulder were behind me minding their business until the spraying happened. They moved away as I dropped to the ground due to the slippery floor. Heatwave slipped too and landed on me. "You're fridging heavy, stupid," I groaned.

The garage was wet, but at least it got a pretty good cleaning. I was mopping the floor when Dani stood in front of me. "What is it?" I asked, looking down. "You can thank me now," she smiled. I rolled my optics. "You're lucky we weren't hurt," I snapped. "You're blushing," she chuckled. I sighed. "Dani, stop teasing us," Heatwave walked in. Again, he slipped and fell on his chassis. "Maybe you need better stabilisers," I giggled slightly. I held him up and continued my mopping until Chief, Cody and Kade returned.

"The garage looks polished. Did you do this, Miku?" Chief asked as he entered. "Maybe I got a bit too overboard on mopping the floor," I said. "She did a great job on cleaning," Heatwave complimented. "Why were you cleaning in the first place? It's not even Earth Day," Kade asked. I didn't reply. "The garage was dusty," Heatwave sighs. Everyone, including the Rescue Bots, were staring at us, especially Heatwave. "Those questions were directed to Miku," Cody muttered. "Heatwave, did something hit your neural-processor?" Kade asked. "Maybe he didn't have proper rest today. Heatwave, come on," I told him as I dragged him to his berth room.

"Are you alright? Did something fry your neural-processor?" I asked, full of worry. "I... I just felt that it was my duty to protect you, since you are Optimus Prime's sparkling," he declared, "I'm fine." I sighed. "Heats, look. I am safe here with you guys, I don't need extra protection or anything. I'm just... grateful that everyone here is safe, and that you are looking out for me so much," I said. It was close to nighttime. Without realising, I kissed his forehelm and left the berth room.

I went back to my own human room and stayed there until the next morning.
