Ok ok ok so remember how tony told Harley that they where connected.
Well what if he meant that literally so when Harley got snapped (I assume Harley got snapped due to him looking like a teen at the funeral) Tony knew that he didn't only lose Peter but Harley as well.
But it's reversible, so while Harley wasn't at the final battle, he felt it the instant tony died. He knew in his gut that he had just lost his sort of father figure before anyone told him.
