After we had a breather, we all climbed back into the vehicles. After I gave Raven the stern warning, I saw that his car wasn't as hectic as before. Mr. Blackbourne was quiet, and Milo and Sean had fallen asleep again. Corey was awake at first, but he had taken some pain killers and quickly fell asleep. Three hours passed quickly.

I reached across and gently rubbed Corey's arm. He woke up. Before he spoke, he looked at our surroundings, and a small smile appeared on his face. He yawned. "Finally home?"

I smiled. "Yep. Axel called ahead. They have medical staff ready for you."

He nodded, sighing. "Good. I think all of us need to relax from this mission."

I laughed, and Sean chuckled. He spoke. "You might have to wait for your relaxation if they force you on a hospital bed."

Corey grimaced. "I hate the smell of hospitals and being poked by needles."

I smirked at him and winked. "If you want to, I can come and spoon feed you, you poor little boy."

He rolled his eyes. "Hey, I'm shot, but I don't need to be tortured by you."

"What does that mean?" Milo said upset.

Corey paused before continuing with a chuckle. "No offense to your sister, Milo, but she's not the best at spoon feeding people. When Marc was sick on time, she fed him, but most of his food spilt on his face and lap. He lost a few pounds those few days."

I rolled my eyes at that story. It was long before Kayli appeared, and we were a close friends. They were acting like younger brothers than older brothers. Whose fault was it for me to serve a sick person soup? It was them because they were too lazy to take the time to feed their brother. Axel claimed to have a meeting, while Raven and Kevin disappeared. Brandon said he had a car to work on, and Corey stuttered so much that he seemed pitiful as he tried to make up an excuse.

"Sang?" Sean asked, unsure. At my nod, he continued. "What will happen to us?"

I grew serious since this concerned their future. "You'll be screened. After that, you have two options. You can join the phoenix organization, or you can reject that invitation. If you do reject it, you will stay on base but will help with duties around the base.

"If you do decide to join, we'll take you to a temporary dorm for bootcamp. After that, we will take you to your permanent rooms. After bootcamp, there are multiple things you can do. We have a medic center, a mechanic center, cafeteria, artillery, and more. You, Sean, can join the medic staff if you want. The others can join different areas around the compound and you'll rotate every two weeks. If you find something that you like, you can sign up to do that. There is also the option to continue training after bootcamp to become an agent. If you pass, then you can do missions." I looked at the three passengers in the back row who were awake and looking at me. My eyes caught Mr. Blackbourne's before I looked back at the road. "It's up to you guys."

"What will happen to our belongings, Ms. Lyons?" Mr. Blackbourne asked me. His hand was clenched in nervousness.

"You'll be able to keep them with you after bootcamp. We keep them in a safe and locked location until you finish." I said. When I joined Phoenix, there was nothing on me except the clothes on my back. I had nothing of value to me. The only thing that was important to me was finding Milo and freeing him. Now that that is done, I have another task to finish.

"Will you be with us?" Milo spoke.

I pressed my lips together. "I won't. I'll come by to check on you, but I won't be in charge of your bootcamp or duties."

"Oh," my twin said sadly. I didn't want to leave him, but maybe the Phoenix can make an exception for me.

As we went higher up the mountain, the guys looked out the window in wonder. The trees were tall and healthy. The scent of air was fresher than anything than they were used to, and they were fascinated by the scenery. The three vehicles came to a stop in front of a cabin. Lights were inside, and when our headlights landed on the cabin, a person came to the front door. An elderly woman smiled at us. Her gray hair was pulled back into a bun and she was clothed in blue pants and a green shirt. She came to my window which I had rolled down. A kind smile was on her face. "Hello, sweetheart. What can I do for you?"
