In the game against Milwaukee in this chapter. Hunter's dad's numbers are getting retired by the organization.
Chapter Five: Heat vs Bucks
I haven't been in Milwaukee since June. I spent July, August, September and most of October in Los Angeles doing press interviews after press interviews for my album.. I received a text from my former swim coach that they have a meet today. He wanted me to surprise some of the girls that I was on the varsity with last year. I flew to Milwaukee with the team then took an Uber to my house..
I get up out of my bed and put on my team shirt from last year and a pair of black ripped jeans. I walk into my bathroom and brush my teeth.. I walk into the kitchen to see my parents eating at the table.
"Are you doing anything before the game tonight?" Dad asks me.
"Brian asked me to surprise some of the girls by going to the meet today, I should be home at like twelve thirty," I tell them.
"Vale," Mom says to me.
I grab my keys from the counterand walk out the door to my Camaro that my dad got me for my sixteenth birthday, two years ago. I get in and drive fifteen minutes to the fieldhouse where the meet is being held. I walk into the fieldhouse and find Brian when I notice that the girls are warming up.
"Hey Tater Tot," Brian greets me. He has called me that since freshman year. All because I don't like them.
"Hey Brian," I hug him. We walk out of the main entrance of the fieldhouse to go to the door by the bleachers where the girls put all of their stuff during the meet. I hide behind the podium where Brian introduces the events. I crouch down so that the girls can't see me when they get out of the water.
"Ladies, gather up," Brian yells at our girls, there are about six other schools here for the conference meet.
"Ladies, we are going to kick some ass. Got it., but I am not going to give you the pep talk today because I recruited someone else to do it," Brian says to them.
"That's my job today," I get up from the position that I was in and they all scream in unison. I run over to them, being careful of the wet floor. They all pull me into a group hug, hugging me so tight I almost couldn't breathe.
"We thought you were in LA," Bella says to me.
"I was but I was in Miami on Wednesday for Tyler's first game, and he convinced me to come back here to go to the game tonight and I texted Brian that I would be in town and we arranged the surprise," I explain to them.
"So after tonight you are going back to LA," Brooke says to me.
"Not necessarily Tyler is trying to talk me into moving down to Miami," I say to her.
"Do it," Finley chimed in.
"I'm thinking about it," I smile at the younger girls. Finley, Brooke and Bella are the captains this year, I was a captain from my sophomore year up until my senior year. I was the first sophomore in the history of the girls swim team to be a captain.

My family and I arrive at Fiserv Forum, I was forced against my will to take my grandparents to the game because Grandpa loves my Camaro. He was so pissed when I got it that the only way I could make it up to him was that he was the first one to ride in it.
During halftime of tonight's game we get to watch my dad's numbers go up in the rafters alongside Bucks legends like Oscar Robertson, Marques Johnson, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Dad wore two numbers in his career; he wore the 65 up until 1997. The six represent that in his family there are six kids and the five represent that he was the fifth of the six children. Then he decided to change his number in March of 1997 after his dad died of leukemia to 97 to honor him. All of my dad's sisters, his younger brother are all coming tonight to watch his name go up in the rafters.
