"Tina." Tawag ni Ate sa kabilang linya.

"Po?" Sabi ko at nilingon siya sa selpon.

"Kanina pa akong nagsasalita dito. You're just blank there." Ani ni Ate at ningitian 'ko lamang siya. "Ano bang nasa isip mo?"

"I don't know." I'm just occupied with things regarding about Max. "I'm just..."

His actions seems very different lately. Palaging research ang kaniyang sabi sa 'kin at laging may lakad. I thought of going to DU pero ang hectic na talaga ng schedule ko. He's different now. The way he talked to me and how he's rushing to go out. Ibang-iba na talaga. Pati ang relasyon namin ay ibang-iba na rin.

"Just?" Tanong ni Ate na kunot noo.

"Just overthinking." I simply said gave her a small smile.

She sighed and looked at me. "If you're tired, just rest. At kung hindi mo na talaga kaya, andito lang ako, kami ni Mom." Tumango ako.

"Ano nga pala ang sinasabi mo kanina?" I asked as I seated properly.

"Sa birthday mo." Aniya. So many things happened, I even forgot my birthday. "Anong gagawin mo? Magdi-dinner tayo? Pero baka wala si Mom. May pupuntahan kasi siya sa araw ng birthday mo."

"Maybe I'll just spend it with my friends and," I paused. "Max?" I said.

"Ah, okay." Aniya at hindi na tumanong. "Just call me if you want anything." I nodded and she ended the call.

I lay down on the bed and starred at the ceiling. Wala na naman si Max dahil may practice daw sila. Palaging wala naman.

"Malapit na ang birthday ko." I said to myself. During our busy days because of the waves of exams, we forgot our anniversary, he forgot. It was night and I remembered it our 2nd year but he was not in the condo.

"Could he remember it?" Sabi ko sa hangin. "Could you remember it Max?"

On the next days were confusing. He was cold but on the other day, he's back at being jolly. I wanted to discuss him about things making me doubt him but, I just don't had a chance. He always leave and I couldn't have the timing.

"Bye! Ingat okay? Mahal kita." Aniya at tumango ako habang nakangiti.

"I love you." I said and he drove away, that simple. He just drove away.

"Tina, hey!" Napalingon ako sa sigaw ni Loki na kita 'kong papalapit sa 'kin.

"Oh?"

"You're going in?" He pointed the gate and I nodded. "Let's go?" My forehead creased but I just walked in with him on my side.

"Si Greta nakita mo?" I asked him while walking beside me.

"Nope." He answered and I only nodded. He stopped walking and the reason why I looked at him. I raised a brow, waiting for him to say something.
