"You sure you don't want to go with us?" I asked Mom while we're standing in front the house.

"Hindi na, nakabili na ako ng ticket at next week pa 'yung flight ko." I sighed and looked at Ate.

"You're gonna stay here for good?"

"Hinihintay ko pa ang result ng board," she took a board exam for nurses. "So, I don't know." She shrugged.

"Okay, everything's set." Loki said from behind as he finished arranging our luggages. I smiled at him before turning my gaze at them.

"Aalis na ako." I said and held their hands. "Susunod kayo ha," I said and they chuckled. Pakiramdam ko tuloy na hindi na sila susunod.

"Opo, doktora." Ani ni Mom at niyakap ko silang dalawa.

"I'll miss you both." I kissed their cheeks and said goodbye before getting in Loki's car.

"I'll miss the breeze." I opened the window and inhale the fresh air of Chicago.

"Yeah," si Loki habang nagmamaneho.

Nang makarating sa airport, kinuha ko na ang aming mga bagahe habang si Loki ay busy dahil katawagan niya ang kaniyang pinsan para sa sasakyan.

"Oh? Everything fine?" I asked when he's now in front of me.

"Yeah, he'll take the car." He smiled and took the cart of our luggages.

"Let's go?" Kinuha ko ang bitbit kong malaking paper bag na medyo mabigat dahil sa purong tsokolate para kay Greta.

"I'll carry that one, it looks heavy," hindi pa ako nagprotesta, kinuha niya na sa 'kin ang paper bag at sinimulang itulak ang cart.

"Hey!" Ani ko at sinundan siya. I'm just concerned dahil ang dami naming bagahe at dadalhin niya pa 'yon.

"Where will you be sitting?" He asked as we boarded the plane.

"Malapit sa window na lang ako," Not that I haven seen the clouds, but it calms me whenever we're on a flight. I seated near the window and he seated beside me.

"You hungry?" Umiling ako nang nilahad niya sa 'kin ang isang burger. "The flight will be 17 hours, get some sleep."

Tumango ako pero, "Ikaw? Won't you sleep?"

"Oh you're concerned now," he raised a brow and I rolled my eyes. "Don't worry tutulog ako."

Before I could lay on my position, a flight attendant stopped on out line and approached Loki.

"Good morning sir, what do you want? Coffee? Tea? Or Me?" My lips parted at her. What the? Kasali ba 'to sa service nila?

"Excuse me?" Loki said and the flight attendant was still stunned looking at Loki. Tumikhim ako at napatingin ang babae sa 'kin.
