From Cheated To Protected

Chapter 24

-Chan's POV-

Tears filled my eyes as I looked at the documents in my hand and back up to Mr. and Mrs. Hong. I had always considered them to be my parents because they took more care of me than my real parents ever did. I'd always wanted to be apart of this family. Who was I to say no to such an amazing thing?

"Of course!" I screamed and nodded, tears running down my cheeks.

There was a burst of cheers in the room. Everyone was clapping and shouting and cheering loudly as I hugged my new parents. I finally had a good family and I promised myself that I would be the best I possibly could in all the ways I could.

I let go of Mr and Mrs Hong and turned to Jisoo hyung who was looking at me with a big smile on his face and his arms open.

"Welcome to the family," He said and approached me, then hugged me tightly.

"Thanks hyung," I said, hugging him back as tightly as I possibly could.

-Time Skip-

-Jisoo's POV-

After an amazing day, everyone had to leave. Everyone but Hannie, as he had decided to stay over for the night.

After everyone left, Chan went to bed early since he was tired, while Jeonghan and I just cuddled in my room while talking about random stuff.

"Did you already apply for college?" I asked him and he nodded.

"I applied to Hanyang University, Pohang University, Seoul University and KAIST," He said and I nodded back.

(KAIST is an abbreviation for Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology.)

"That's great! I applied to the same ones too, and also Andong College," I said, snuggling up more to him and closing my eyes as I took in his calming scent.

"Oh. That one didn't come to mind when I was choosing colleges. Maybe I should apply for that one as well because I don't think I could stand being apart from you for too long," He said and rubbed my back.

"I was thinking the same thing. I don't think I could take it either," I said softly and took his free hand.

A comfortable silence came over us for a little while, but soon, Hannie broke it.

"Lets go on a date tomorrow."

"Well that was sudden! But sure!" I laughed and replied.

"Where are we going?" I asked and looked up at him.

"It's a surprise. Just be sure to be ready by 5pm, okay?" He said and kissed my forehead.

I nodded and pushed myself up some more so I could kiss his lips. Once I did, he pulled me closer to him and caressed my cheek with his other hand. It was a short, passionate kiss, but I know we both enjoyed it.

Once we pulled away, I looked at the time and saw that it was almost 11pm.

"It's getting late babe. Should we go to bed now?" I asked him and he nodded and yawned.

"Yeah, I'm starting to feel tired," He said.

"Alright, should I turn the AC on? It's a little hot in here."

"Yes please."

I grabbed the remote for the AC and turned it on, then we got under the covers.

"Goodnight my love. I love you so much," He said softly and kissed the top of my head, making me blush.

"Goodnight, I love you too."
