"Hey, wake up. We're gonna land." I was startled by the sound of his voice. I groaned as I looked out the window. The sun had just started to set from what I could tell. I felt slightly nauseous. I reached my hand out as he took it and helped me up slowly. "I'm not feeling too good-" He looked to me as he lead me to the seats we were sitting at from earlier.
"You'll be alright." He helped me sit down and buckle before sitting down himself and buckling. He held his hands out and I put mine into his. He gently squeezed my hands. "You're okay. I'm not gonna let anything happen to you." I nodded as I swallowed harshly. The world around me seemed to have been spinning. I sighed as I leaned my head back, keeping my hands in his.
"You're okay, I promise." I nodded gently as I huffed. I felt groggy. It was an annoying feeling. I felt hot as well. The only thing keeping me from really zoning out and allow my body to do what it wanted was his touch and his voice. "We're landing now, Sir." "Thank you, Sarah. Do you need a barf bag or something?" I kept my head back for a moment. "Just in case, please."
"Sarah could you pl-" He didn't get to finish his sentence. I felt a new texture on my hand. I'm guessing it was the bag. "Thank you." I spoke weakly as I saw a passing smile from the flight attendant. His grip tightened around my hands as the bag was still there. "You're okay."
I could feel the plane starting to drop. Or maybe it was my stomach getting caught in my throat. "It's okay." I heard him speak again. I swallowed harshly as I could feel the plane starting to decline. I gasped slightly as I could feel panic rising in my chest. "You're okay. We're just landing, okay?" I tried to speak but I feared if I did I would actually get sick. I just kept my mouth shut.
"Breathe, hon." I could hear him breathing out loud as I followed his breathing. "You're okay." I gripped onto his hands as I felt the plane land as I gasped again. I gripped onto his hands with more force than before. He gripped back onto me as I kept my head back. "Do you need the bag?" I tried to nod but had a problem with doing so. He pulled his hands away from mine as he held the bag, opening it and placing it into my hands.
I pulled the bag to me as I leaned my head down. I swallowed harshly again. "You're really pale." I nodded as I kept trying to not vomit. The plane started to come to a slowed pace. I could feel his hand on my head as I kept my head down and hovered over the bag. "We're almost there." I huffed as I could feel tears starting to swell.
What the hell was going on to me? Why was I getting like this? The plane wasn't moving anymore. I could feel heat rising in my chest. I pulled the bag up to my mouth as I felt myself gag. "You're okay. The plane came to a stop. We can take all the time you need." I couldn't speak.
A phone was ringing. "Hello? Oh hey V- Yeah we just landed. No uh...she isn't doing that well. I woke her up and she started panicking I'm guessing?- No I can't put her on the phone she won't talk- she's currently gagging into a barf bag. Alright. We will wait outside. Alright, chao." I tried to look up but I couldn't.
I heard clicking as I then saw his hands grabbing at my buckle. The pressure from it disappeared as I could freely move around. "Do you wanna try and go get some cool air?" I gently nodded as my throat got tighter. He helped me stand up slowly. The world around me was spinning. I felt uncontrollably hot. He waited for me to get situated in the aisle as he lead the way, walking slowly out of the plane. I had one hand on the bottom of the bag to hold it as my other was in his hand.
We got to the exit as I gasped at seeing the outside world. Feeling the slightly chilled air made whatever was happening slightly more bearable. I slowly started to let myself kneel as he felt me lower myself, he spun around and looked at me. "Are you okay?" I nodded. "Is that how you're gonna get out of the plane?" I nodded again as he sighed.
"Stand back up." I gave myself a moment before standing back up. Before I knew what happened the world started to spin again as I realized I was no longer standing. He was holding me. "Alright, V is supposed to meet us here." He started moving as he continued to talk. I could feel him turning himself and I to step out of the exit doorway as he carefully stepped down the stairs. I swallowed harshly again as my throat started to burn. I felt him walking on flat land. Were we completely off of the plane?
He walked over to the grassy field a few feet away from the plane. He slowly moved as he lowered himself to kneel. He placed me on the ground as I sat there. Once I was on the ground I felt his hand on my forehead. "You're running a fever. Were you sick before getting on the plane?" I shook my head.
"Alright, I'll be back." He stepped away from me as I kept my head down.Everything was hot and spinning still. A few moments later he came back with a bottle of water. He sat down in front of me. He handed me the water bottle as I looked at it and gagged slightly again. I covered my mouth with the bag of course. "You need to drink something. When was the last time you ate something?" I sighed as I lowered the bag from my lips and took the water bottle from him.
I closed my eyes as I opened it and lifted it to my lips. I took a small sip as I moved the bottle away from my lips. I swallowed harshly. "Uh...like...a day or two ago- I'm not aware of what the date is-" I heard him growl. "Damn it, seriously?" I nodded gently as he shook his head.
"You need to take care of yourself." I huffed as I could feel my stomach rising to my throat again. I struggled to speak. "Well, when you're going through a heartbreak it does things to you." He sighed. His phone rang again. He picked it up.
"Hello? Hey, yeah we're in the grass field. She's not any better. I'm thinking maybe it's motion sickness? She hasn't thrown up. I gave her water. She hasn't eaten in two days- Okay don't yell at me about it! Alright. We can do that then. Alright. Chao."
I looked up to him. "V is supposed to be here within the next fifteen minutes." I nodded gently. I sighed as we sat there. "Take another sip." I bit my lip as I held the bottle. "Take another sip." I lifted the bottle to my lips and sipped at it again. I could feel my stomach in my throat again as I stopped.
I wasn't too hot anymore but I still felt ungodly sick. I put the bottle down as I held the bag up to my mouth again. Everything got quiet. My vision kept getting hazy. It was hard to stay awake, but I was terrified of not being able to. "Hey, come on. Stay awake. You're okay." I shook my head which was a bad idea, it caused me to feel dizzy again. The world around us was getting dark.
Was I sure it was? I saw the man sitting across from me illuminating from a faded light. What light was it? I heard a soft yet very loud hum. The light started to grow as my eyes grew heavy. "Just a few more minutes come on, hon." I opened my mouth to speak but my body felt heavy. I wasn't sure what happened but everything got dark quickly.
