Days passed like a whirlwind. My days for me went normal after the scene in the canteen happened. I don't know if it's just me but Shaina didn't bother me anymore. Nandoon pa rin ang mga tingin nilang masasakit sa akin at hindi na ata iyon maaalis pero napapansin kong hindi na nila ako inaaway o nilalapitan—which is a good thing for me. At least I have a peaceful life now.

I appreciate the peace and silence of my life here these past few days. Hindi ko na rin nakita simula ng araw na iyon si... Kai. Wait, why am I thinking him?

Iginala ko ang tingin ko sa loob ng classroom and saw the different faces of my classmates while we are having our final exam in Differential calculus. Katatapos ko lang sagutan ang mga problems na nakasulat sa papel. This will be our last examination for today. Grabe, tatlo lang ang exam namin ngayong araw pero gusto na sumabog ng utak ko.

I saw my classmates Andrew, Shane, Anne, and Anicka—I think they are finished in exam since they are not answering anymore... nga ba?—I don't know. Some were still answering. Some seats are already vacant because after they finished their exam, they went home immediately. Sa harap ay ang aming instructor na istriktong nakabantay lang. Oh, I forgot to tell, we are all one-seat-apart distance!

Sa labas ng classroom ay ang mga ibang estudyante sa kabilang room. Lahat sila nagre-review. Pansin ko lang, ganito ba kapag finals, talagang as in super seryoso ng atmosphere? Maybe... I saw some of the students here and they were very, very serious. Sabi ng prof ko, kapag medyo alanganin ang midterm grade mo, bawi ka sa semi-finals at finals. That would probably the case. Well, I think lahat naman naga-aral kahit walang hahabuling grades—that, something that is really appreciated from a student.

"Last 10 minutes..." I heard the silent sighs and curses of my classmates. Tumayo ako at binigay na sa instructor ang papel ko pati na rin ang laman ng mga solutions. I have no plans in staying here so I immediately went out of the room.

Sa labas, nakita ko si Shaina at ang mga kaibigan niya. Maaga silang natapos huh. Tiningnan ko sila at agad nila inirolyo ang kanilang mga mata pero agad silang umalis palayo sa akin. I shrugged and continue walking away.

I went to the music room because it's been a while since I go there. Busy sa paga-aral eh. When I was near at the said room, I realized that someone's there. Nang sumilip ako ay may mga tao na kumakanta at parang nagpa-practice. Oh? Exam week ah bakit may mga tao? Huli na nang mapagtantong mga non-faculties pala ang mga ito. Hindi ko alam kung anong meron pero halatang nagp-prepare sila.

Tumingin ako sa relo at nakitang maaga pa. I don't want to go home yet and I want to stay here. I went to the bench near the music room and sit there. Maghihintay na lang ako hanggang sa matapos sila.

Minutes passed while waiting, I saw Kai that was about to enter the room. He is wearing uniform, as usual. Mabait na bata. Minsan nga nagsi-sibilyan na lang ako. My eyes widened when I saw him but my face heated when I remember him saying my name Kaye. Wait, why am I acting like this? Come on, just act normal. I shook my head and then I continue with what I am doing—reviewing for my tomorrow's exam.

I was about to ignore him when his eyes darted on me. My heart skipped a bit and I have no choice but to give him a force smile. Lumapit siya na mas lalong nagpakabog ng puso ko.
