Pumunta muna kami sa canteen para bumili ng pagkain bago nagtungo sa likod ng music room para doon kumain. We were just silent while we're eating. After that, we decided to go back in our respective rooms for the afternoon classes.

Kai:

I'll wait you here in the parking lot.

I pursed my lips when my phone vibrated and saw the message of Kai. Meron pa akong klase hanggang ngayon at mamayang 5 pa ang uwian namin. Ever since Kai got my number, hindi na naging boring ang cellphone ko. Dati, anime, facebook, at instagram lang ang ganap dito.

Me:

Mauna ka na. Mamaya pang 5 ang uwian ko.

Agad kong tinago sa bag ang cellphone ko pagkatapos ko siyang reply-an. Mahirap na, may klase pa nga eh.

"Hinintay mo talaga ako?"

I saw Kai in the parking lot waiting for me. I thought he already go home because that's what I told him to do.

"Hindi ba sinabi ko na hihintayin kita?" masungit niyang sabi. Pero kahit gano'n... my heart is warm because of that simple words coming from him. I smiled and stared at him. He rolled his eyes and he started walking towards his car. I laughed a bit.

"Patay na patay ka talaga sa akin ano?"

He sighed and he faced me. He looks annoyed again. Marahan akong tumawa at saka tinaas ang kamay.

"Oo na, oo na."

There, he turned his back again to me.

"Sungit," I mumbled.

The next morning, I waited him to fetch me in going to school. We were together during lunch too. I was looking at him while he's silently eating his lunch. Nag-iwas ako ng tingin nang dumapo ang tingin niya sa akin. I cleared my throat and continue eating too.

How I wish we can talk... I mean, magkwentuhan... something like that. He's always silent.

"Ang hirap ng quiz namin kanina sa Integral Calculus!" I pouted. Naalala ko na naman iyong score ko kanina.

"Akala ko ba magaling ka sa Math?" si Kai.

Inikot ko ang mata ko at saka siya pinameywangan, "Porket ba magaling sa Math hindi na nahihirapan?"

Totoo kaya! Ang hirap kaya. Integral Calculus is way easier than differential calculus, I think? Pero habang patagal nang patagal, mas humihirap na ito! But you know what, one thing I realized in college, everything I learned from the first semester, I can use it in the preceding semesters. Kaya mahalaga na matuto ka sa mga naunang topis. If not, you will be left behind.
