I looked at him while he's holding my hand, and he is looking at me gently. Huminga siya nang malalim.

"Let's go inside first," he said then he opened wider his car's door. Hindi na ako nagsalita pa at hinayaan ang gusto niyang mangyari. We were still silent once we entered his car up until he started his engine and drove.

"Are you mad?" I asked because he is still silent. Minutes already passed but he is still silent.

"Sorry. Masyado na ba akong nosy? Nagiging pakiala-"

"No."

I smiled and faced him, "Are you really okay?"

I don't know why I am worried of him. I always saw him serious and silent, I don't even know what's gotten into him even though we are always together. I don't know that he has this kind of problem though it's still puzzled to me what's going between his family and him.

"O-Kaye?" he said and chuckled.

"Hindi nakakatawa," pagseseryoso ko. Now I can tell that he really has a problem huh.

"It's just a simple argument with my parents, Kaye," he said while his eyes are on the road.

"Simple?" simple nga lang ba?

"Yeah."

"May I know what is it?" I asked but just only a moment I realized that it is too much for me to ask him this. Damn... I know that he isn't that kind of a vocal person, so I assumed he doesn't want to talk.

"Oh! Sorry—"

"My parent wants me to become a civil engineer."

Oh! He is... he is a chemical engineering student, right? I stopped and I was lost for words. I thought... his parents supported him with this?

He stopped the car in the middle of the road and then took a u-turn. I blinked twice, still looking at him. Mas curious ako sa nararamdaman niya ngayon kaysa sa dahilan kung bakit siya nag-u-turn. I wanted to ask him but he's too serious and I am afraid that he might get annoy.

Ilang saglit pa, tumigil kami sa 7-Eleven. Nangunot ang noo ko. Lumabas siya ng kanyang sasakyan at pumasok sa loob. May bibilhin ba siya?

I just watch him through the transparent glass wall. He's buying snacks, drinks, burgers, and other foods. Anong gagawin ng isang ito? Nang makapili siya, pumunta na siya ng cashier para magbayad.

I just watch him until he came back inside the car. He put the things he bought at the back seat of his car. Binigay niya rin sa akin ang binili niyang ready-to-heat ulam and a drinks.

My brows furrowed.

"Kumain ka. Hindi ka nag-lunch." Inabot niya ang isang supot na may lamang meal at drinks. Gutom na rin naman ako kaya kinuha ko iyon agad at kumain. Iyong binigay niya lang na burger kanina ang kinain ko sa buong hapon.
