*present* *Zack POV*

I looked down to see the girl that I had been chasing with the intent to kill. I drop the knife I was holding and get oof of her. She doesn't move just keeps staring at me. Every second I look at her I'm reminded more and more of Rachel. It's disgusting. I turn way walking back down the road I came hoping I could find someplace to stay were I wouldn't be discovered. After a couple of steps the girl speaks up, "Aren't you going to kill me?" She asks. I turn around to meet her (E/c) eyes. I give her a confused look. "Aren't you going to kill me?", the girl repeated.  I sigh walking over to her grabbing the knife and stuffing it into her hand. "Kill yourself, I leaving." I turn around again hoping that I didn't waste too much time talking. "Where are you going?" The girl asked. God was this girl annoying! "I don't know!" I admit, "Anywhere but here I guess."

"Did you want to stay at my house?" She asked. What is wrong with this girl? He didn't know. He had just tried to kill her and now she was asking him to stay the night. He couldn't help but bark a laugh. "You want me to stay the night at your house?" He laughed. "Umm, ya", she responded. Unbelievable. He sighed. Whatever, he thought. Anything was better the cold, hard, ground. This girl had to up to something. He didn't mind though. My life is boring enough as it is, might be interesting to find out what she's hiding. "Okay", he said, "lead the way."

(Y/n) POV

We arrived at my house when I realized the door would still be locked, I told the man to wait there while I went around back to the window so I could unlock the door. He insisted on coming along and I didn't argue. We went back to the side of the house where I climbed into the window the man following after. "I don't have a guest bedroom so you can stay here", I gestured to the room that used to be my mothers, I kept the curtains closed and dusted from time to time so it wasn't gross by any means. "The bathroom is the last door on your left." I looked down at his bloodied clothes and bandages, "take a shower your a mess I have some spare clothes my friend left here one night, they should fit you. I'll grab them. The towels and bandages should be in the closet in the bathroom"

"Wait he said," I looked up to him taken in his hazel eyes. "I don't entirely trust you." He said. I just laughed, "your one to talk buddy," I put emphasis on the word buddy, realizing that I didn't even know his name. "By the way what's your name?" I asked.

"Issac, but people call me Zack," he said, "what about you? What's your name?" He asked. "(Y/n) but people call me (Y/n)," You responded.

"Well then (Y/n) like I was saying I don't entirely trust you, hand me your car keys and phone so I know you won't turn on me the moment I turn around." He said. You complied without hesitation walking over the the kitchen counter where you left your phone and keys. You noticed the carrots you had began chopping sitting in the bowl. You walked back over to Zack who was standing in the hallway opening watching your every move. "Here," you said. You glanced again at the carrots, "have you eaten yet?" You asked. "No" he responded, his stomach growled at the moment. "Well then, you go get cleaned up and I will get dinner ready." You suggested. After looking you over for what seemed like forever he released a huff and made his way for the bathroom. You got to work.
