"Naina...naina beta open the door everyone is waiting for you." naina listened the extra sugary voice of her step mother. asking her to come out and she quickly smudge away the spread mascara by using tissue.

"Yes i am coming." she answered in low voice and sulakshana went down.

"O god how will i face everyone. what would i say if they'll ask me about this S letter. damn what mess up did that silly boy have created for me." Naina muttered in worried tone fidgeting her finger nervously.

She fearfully reach down to see one more lady accompanying her soon to be mother-in-law. she touch their feet with respect and the lady reluctantly blessed her by placing her hand on her head. naina smiled slightly avoiding best to don't look any of them but gaze around the crowd.

"Should we start mehendi ceremony." vishakha asked in smile looking up at the clock.

"Sure why not." sulakshana said in simple smile and made naina sit down on mattress.

Naina was afraid to give her palm to artist who smiled at her sweetly and requested - "mam please give me your palm otherwise how would i draw any design."

She nodded and in slow motion gave her left palm as it was plain and the artist looked her in surprised reaction as wherever she have went the bride have firstly asked her to make desgin on right palm, but here the story is quite weird and opposite.

Tina is smiling ear to ear knowing the consequence after when naina will apply this mehendi.

The girl who was drawing on her palm said in smile - "the deep colour of red has started to appear on your soft palm. i am sure your soon to be husband gonna love you so much, you will rule on his life forever mark my word."

For a while naina blushed deeply as her words have deep meaning. the artist ask her to give right palm to which naina rejected.

"What happened, why are you not giving your right palm." tina asked in desperate tone and naina glared her.

"Nnn...nothing am having little pain and allergy so i can't give my right palm." she give a excuse to which tina react shockingly as how could she feel allergic when she haven't applied mehendi on that palm. 🥺

"O no. you should have told me bacha i would've called doctor for you." sulakshana show fake concern for naina and she stare her with numb eye.

"Am i dreaming? how this venom factory have suddenly turn so sugary...man i can't tolerate this change at any cost." Naina said to herself in mind with disbelief look.

"What is your groom name starts with. i have to write in your palm." the girl asked while holding the cone in between her thumb and index finger.

"Write "S" letter." sulakshana said in nervous smile and naina give a confusing look to her.

"What? why S letter. my husband name is ra..." she was cut by her step mother who Interrupted - "o my baby that name is his nickname real one starts with S only."

Naina give a "when did this happen" look to her and tina khushi were confused in no limit.

"Wait. what is his nickname will you please clear." naina questioned in doubtful eye and her step mother shivered thinking that how should she lie now in front of his whole family.

Before she could speak. her phone beep and she quickly excused herself.

"i am very confused now. my so called mom have asked the artist to write S letter in my hand. and that stranger boy also wrote the same so is that mean it was rahul...? O no it was he and i stupid didn't realised he is my fiance. damn what i did shit i failed in recognizing my own husband..." Naina mumbled in upset voice misunderstanding sameer as rahul.
