Everything Can Surface My Past

You drunkenly lunge at me, probably something you didn't even realize would end up so exaggerated when you were just trying to get closer to me.
Suddenly the room of 7 vanished (with 3 being people I trusted to protect me very well) and you were no longer a boy I fawned over. In my mind you became a threat-something I should fear. In my state of emergency, all my mind could think about-as you bounced forward way to fast-was that I was about to be taken advantage of. Suddenly it was just me and you and I could feel the weight of a hungry man on top of me; One too heavy to escape from underneath. My mind traveled back to a past experience mirroring this one, me cornered like a peninsula on almost every side.
I jumped back out of instinct. You fell to your knees and I tried to calm back to reality. The girl to my right catches you mid fall with her legs and I try to catch my breath pressed against the wall.
