"Finally I'll see Hinata," thought Naruto.
One week later
"Ha, Naruto, is that you?!" said Sakura.
"Hey Sakura," said Naruto.
"It's been a year since you were gone, right?"
"It will be so."
"I heard you had a concert with Gaara."
"Please don't remind me.."
"I would like to hear that!"
"You should be glad you didn't."
"Are you gonna be ANBU again?"
"Ha? You know this?"
"Of course, Tsunade-sama told me!"
"Okay, of course. I always wanted to do this. By the way, where's Hinata?"
"Ho, you miss her."
"Is it so obvious?"
"She's on a mission right now."
"Okay, I'm going to see Hokage-sama anyway," said Naruto and went to see Tsunade.
"Hey Naruto, how was your training?" asked Tsunade.
"That Killer-Bee was really a fool but he was really strong. Now I have Kyuubi's chakra."
"I'm glad to hear that."
"Can I be an ANBU again?" asked Naruto.
"Of course, you'll get your position back."
"Right."
Everything seemed fine now. It was at the time I didn't even think about can happen.
Then Hinata came back with her team.
"Hinata, I'm back!" said Naruto.
"Y-you are already?" Naruto nodded.
Even Hinata was still okay. And I was still happy.
"Here, I bought this for you!" said Naruto and handed her a small box. There was a necklace with a fox.
"This should remind you of me, always whenever you will be scared, this will calm you down. And if you'll be in a danger, I'll came to save you!"
This is the promise I couldn't keep.
"T-thank you! I-I-I'm sorry, but now I have to go!" Hinata left.
"Uhh, so she's still with Neji."
This is the last thing that would bother me now.
"Oi Naruto, is that you?" asked Shikamaru when he was making Temari a company.
"Hey Shikamaru, I see you have a girlfriend too."
"What? No, she's just here on excursion! I'm her company for this," said Shikamaru.
"I see," said Naruto.
"So are you stronger now?"
"I suppose you can say that," said Naruto.
Everything was fine. Naruto was going on missions. Sasuke was still his best friend. And Hinata, well, it's complicated. Because Naruto still didn't make a bond with Kurama, Sasuke was still the strongest in the village. But Naruto wasn't far from this titul. One day Tsunade called him to her office.
"Naruto, I have to tell you something!"
"What's going on?"
And this is the beginning of a whole new story.
