It was called "Ravintola Teatteri," and it was packed; there was a long line to get in, and it was only Ville having a reservation that allowed them to have quicker access via the backdoor. "Wow," Maria said as they walked in, "I chose a spot in the terrace near the Teatteribaari upstairs for our evening darling, follow me," Ville said, leading Maria upstairs.

The place was lively, fancy, and romantic. "I hope the table is to your liking, sweetheart," Ville said they had a view of Espalandi Terrace; it was more than she had dreamed of. She was quite embarrassed; she was not comfortable with being spoiled; she did not like people wasting money on her. Ville could sense her distress as the waiter brought them the menu and squeezed her hand in reassurance.

They talked about history, philosophy, music, movies, art, and individual goals. "An excavation?" Ville asked, curious, "Yes, an important one, mind you, it cannot be discussed openly, so please keep it between us," Maria said. "Of course, sweetheart, my lips are sealed," Ville replied.

"I am excited to be in charge of it, yes, a bit nervous but quite intrigued to see where it will lead us to," Maria said. "Have you ever been told how adoringly your eyes shimmer when you speak of your work?" Ville said, looking at her with a gaze so deep it made her shiver and blush, "As yours do when you sing," Maria said, making him blush in return.

As the night continued, Maria hoped Ville would not want to dance. She was still deathly afraid to step on him. They sipped on their drink, and Maria sighed, saying, "Thank you, its just...its been such a long time," Maria said.

"We have all night. You told me you took tomorrow off?" Ville replied. "Yes, I did, I figured....look, if you are interested in pursuing this, then there are things about me you must know," she said. "I am open to hearing them, if you are willing to let me in," Ville replied as they sipped on their drinks. Perhaps they would give her the courage to dance.

"I love my freedom, I will not allow anyone to pin my wings down, I was in a long-term relationship, the man I was with was good, charming, educated, and responsible," Maria sighed. "But he wanted to control each aspect of what I did, from where I worked, to what I wore, to whom I talked to, and what I did, this began shortly after being engaged," Maria added.

Though Ville was not drinking, she had asked for some wine. It was easier for her to talk from the heart with a slight buzz. "Well darling, I must tell you that I am the same, I dread being in a cage," he said, his eyes sorrowful, "I recently was close to bonding myself to eternity with a lady, but for some reason or other, it ended, and I am glad," Ville said holding her hands.

"Did you love her?" Maria asked, "I did, I adored her, did you love this man?" Ville asked, genuinely interested "I loved him, I thought he was the one, but in my heart I knew, I know I cannot be trapped, yet I...I do believe in love," she said, perhaps it was the slight buzz, but Ville was so easy to talk to.

"I believe in love too, and it's such an important influence in my life, my music," Ville stated, "I think I understand more about why you do not want just to let go and give in to a chance with me, but I want to promise you, that I would not be one to pin you down. You are much more beautiful in your freedom, and I would hope though that we could share that freedom, no compromises, no contracts, just an earthly and spiritual bond," Ville said.

Maria sighed. "I believe that is the only way to love, in total freedom, and without chains of lust tying us to eternal damnation, I believe love is reaching the peak of a mountain and finding an ancient ruin. Something is pushing you to want to seek out more together, even if you are happy with each other" She said.

It is a race, where two hearts chase each other and make each other grow as people and become better versions of themselves," she said. Ville kissed her hand, sending fire through her skin and bones, "I agree on that statement, sweetheart," he said.

Everything sounded so perfect. He was perfect. In every way, and the slow music that came on as if on cue awoke her "hopeless romantic heart," the one she had thought dead, making her toes wiggle and her body shake, she wanted to slow dance with him tonight.

"If you are intent on wooing me, however, Mr. Valo erm...Ville, then why have you not yet asked me to dance?" Maria said, making him giggle, liquor always seemed to make her more brazen, even if it was a small buzz. "Oh my apologies, I would love to have a dance with you tonight," Ville said, holding out his hand as he pulled her towards him.

One of his hands held her waist and the other the on her upper back, while she leaned slowly leaned into his chest "Cheek to cheek?" Ville said, his eyes shining as she shivered and placed her cheek on his, breathing in his ocean scent in as one arm held his nape and the other his waist. It felt so safe, so right, here in his arms, she could be vulnerable and allow herself to be frail and to be loved. In her arms, Ville felt safe, calm, and able to be himself, wounds and all.

"There is a moon out tonight" by the Capris played to the melodic dancing of two hearts afraid to love but wanting to beat together in unison.

There's a (moon out tonight) whoa-oh-oh ooh.

Let's go strollin'. There's a (girl in my heart) whoa-oh-oh ooh.

Whose heart I've stolen There's a moon out tonight (whoa-oh-oh ooh)

Let's go strollin' through the park (ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh)

There's a (glow in my heart) whoa-oh-oh ooh.

I never felt before. There's a (girl at my side) whoa-oh-oh ooh.

That I adore There's a glow in my heart I never felt before (ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh)

Oh darlin' Where have you been? I've been longin' for you all my life.

Whoa-uh-oh baby, I never felt this way before. I guess it's because there's a moon out tonight.

There's a (glow in my heart) whoa-oh-oh ooh I never felt before

There's a (girl at my side) whoa-oh-oh ooh.

That I adore There's glow in my heart. I guess it's because

There's a moon out tonight Moon out tonight.

Moon out tonight There's a moon out tonight

Ville and Maria swung to and fro under the moonlight, which began to shine down on them. "I..have not felt like this in such a long time," Maria said. She was dancing perfectly, letting him lead her to heaven for this was heaven.

"Me neither," Ville said, looking at her, and though she was hesitant, Ville could not help but notice the red on her lips and how they let out a small sigh in the shape of his name.

"Kaunis," he said, kissing her with passion holding her close, her foot slightly lifted because his lips were as soft as sin, and he was becoming part of her world, "Anna minulle vain mahdollisuus todistaa kuinka paljon rakastan sinua" Ville said hoping she would know.

"I do not know that much Finnish yet but..." Maria said no, she knew the love in his eyes radiated so beautifully they looked like gems of multicolored prisms of spring in winter. "I will give us a chance, Ville," she said, hoping she was not too far off, and it was his smile and a sweet kiss that confirmed it.

Thanks if you are here!
