(8 months after series, the date is November 24th)
*Patton POV*
"Hey, when are you guys getting here?" I ask.
I'm on the phone with Logan. He and Virgil agreed to come up here for the weekend. It's Roman's birthday, and we never really got to celebrate all together it last year, seeing as we hardly knew Virgil.
"We just landed. We should be there in an hour and a half," Logan says.
"Ok! Is Virgil alright?" I ask.
"Yes, he slept for most of the flight and clung to me," he says.
I laugh a little.
"That sounds like him," I say.
"Ok, our shuttle is here so I am going to have to hang up. See you soon, Patton," Logan says.
"Bye kiddo!" I say.
He hangs up.
Roman's birthday is today, and it's six AM. I'm really tired, but I need to set up while he's at work. He told me he's going out with some friends after, so I have until at least five tonight.
I wander around the apartment for a while. Mostly cleaning. The place is spotless in the first place, but I still do like cleaning. As long as I have music, it's something to keep me busy.
Before I know it, there's a knock at the door.
"Kiddos!" I say.
I give them both a hug.
"Hey Pat," Virgil says.
"Salutations, Patton," Logan says.
"Ok, let's get ready! Ro gets back at around five," I say.
"That late?" Logan asks.
"He's going out with some friends," I say.
They both nod.
"So what are we going to do to, like, party-ify this place?" Virgil asks.
I grin.
"I'm glad you asked!" I say, grabbing the bin behind the counter.
I open it up to reveal a bunch of Disney princess themed things. Stickers, confetti, and just some random things.
"And of course there's Aladdin stuff in there too, that's his favorite movie," I say.
"Isn't he turning 20?" Logan asks.
I nod.
"It was his decision to bring this to the apartment in the first place, I just never opened it until last week. So why not use it?" I say.
"He's got a point. And I am definitely filming Princey's reaction." Virgil nods.
"Ok, I think we'll get started on this later. In the meantime, we can just hang out," I say.
"That sounds pleasant. It's been a while since we've seen each other," Logan says.
I nod.
"I've missed you guys," I say.
*Roman POV*
Patton seemed very excited about something when I left this morning, and I've been wondering about it all day.
"I'm home!" I call as I open the door.
I look up and for a second I think I'm in the wrong apartment.
"Uh- Patton?" I ask.
"Hi, kiddo! Happy birthday!" he says.
I internally facepalm. Is it really already November?
