Author's POV

"Durga baby you will be tired go get some sleep," said Jaya in worry

"No mamma I'm having my exams and I want to study," said Durga in protest

"Your exams are a day after tomorrow so you can study tomorrow now go and sleep," Jaya said sternly

"ok," she said pouting and went to bed, she didn't remember anything after her head touched the pillow she went to sleep immediately because she was that much tried from today's events

At this time Devaki was sleeping peacefully dreaming that her soul enemy will never be any problem to her. She knew Raveen well, she was sure that after his assault Durga is not going to survive, he was a real beast in front of his feast.

She waked up by hearing a thudding sound on her window. "Who is that?" she asked

"Grandma it's me Raveen open the window," said Raveen

"What are you doing here?" she asked opening her window "oh god what happened to you?" she asked in shock at seeing his condition

His face was red, puffy, and tired. His lips were bleeding, his whole body was.

"Your bitchy granddaughter.... because of her I am in this state now," he said in anger while climbing in through the window and groaned in pain

"She did what?" Devaki asked and Raveen explained everything to her

"That bloody slut, I'm going to kill her. How could she do that and drag my reputation to the mud again..." she said in anger and marched to Durga's room

Durga was sleeping peacefully unaware of the angry bull standing in her room.

"You bloody whore" roared Devaki and pulled Durga out from her bed by dragging her hair

Durga suddenly opened her eyes groaning in pain, she didn't understand anything at first then she saw a fuming Devaki in front of her. Devaki was pulling Durga's hair so harshly she dragged Durga out from her room.

"How dare you bloody slut to disgrace my reputation again in this society" roared Devaki and slapped Durga

Durga was struggling in her arms pleading to let her go

"let you go" slap

"You let them beat my Raveen" she kicked Durga's spine "You fucking shit I will kill you with my hands" she started slapping and kicking Durga. Durga curled up on the floor like a baby.

By hearing all the shouts Jaya and Druv ran towards them " Maa stop it, she is a child" she tried to protect her baby but Devaki slapped her too and pushed her to the floor. Jaya's forehead hit on the table making her bleed.

Druv was also crying to let her dudu go but Raveen held him tight against him. He was enjoying Durga's suffering, he also wanted to join the party but the little brat in his arms was giving him a hard time.

Jaya again tried to save her daughter but each time Devaki pushed her away and started to beat Durga more aggressively.

"WHAT'S HAPPENING HERE?" everyone heard Kumar's roar, Devaki stopped her beating

Kumar watched her daughter crying on the floor covering herself. He ran to her and took her in his arms

"Maa did you lose your mind or what? Why are you beating my baby?" asked Kumar fuming in anger at his mother

"Kumar do you know what she did? She tried to let my reputation down again" answered Devaki not liking the tone of her son towards her.

"What are you saying maa? what did she do for you to beat her like this? Look at my baby" he said caressing Durga "Don't cry my girl, I got you, dada got you, baby, no one is going to hurt you . And what are you doing here at this time Raveen?" he asked to Raveen in anger. Raveen let Druv go from his hands.
