XIV. Apologies

"Do I look like I care Arthur?" I say on FaceTime.

"Babe stop being so mean" Kiara says.

Kiara and I were on FaceTime before Arthur got jealous so we added him. I was on FaceTime with Coco just a few minutes before.

"I'm just saying okay" he says.

Apparently I'm being tagged in posts and comments related to Ruel. It's so frustrating.

It's good thing my account is private.

He's with a girl at what looks like is a pier. He can do whatever he wants. It's none of my concern for all I care.

"Dude it's so annoying" I say.

"Just turn your notifications off" Kiara says.

"Oh you're right. I shouldve done that in the first place." I reply.

We're pulling an all nighter because it's summer and we're bored since we have nothing better to do. I see Coco's contact appear on my screen.

"Guys I'm gonna have to go someone's calling me, I might come back though" I say.

"K bye Brandy!" Kiara says.

"Bye!" I hear Arthur say.

"Hey what's up Coco?"

"HOLD ON BRANDY GIVE ME A SEC!" she says before leaving her room.

That's odd.

A few minutes later I hear the door open, she's back quick.

"So what was it Coco?" I ask but instead of Coco appearing it's someone else making me end the call.

I'm done with your bullshit.

Coco's contact starts calling again and I decline.

Coco's contact starts calling again, I take a deep breath before answering the call.

"Please hear me out" the annoying Australian voice says.

I hear his voice into nothingness.

"I didn't know that we'd be leaving that early. That same night after facetime Nate told me we'd be leaving because something went wrong with my paperwork and we had to leave before things get worse." He says.

"I was completely get lagged from the whole flight since left at 4 am? It never crossed my mind because I was stressing over it. I completely forgot about telling you until Slyvie came barging into my room yelling at me" he continues.

"I should've let you know the moment things were happening but it really slipped out of my head. I'm really sorry. I honestly just want your forgiveness. I know what I did got you worried sick and hurt. I'm sorry if you're still hurting from everything that I've done." He finishes.

So what now Brandy?

"A-are you still there?" I hear him speak up.
