Background
Private Jam Session is the ship name of Zoot and Lips, the brass players of the Electric Mayhem. Both are quiet, in the background kind of characters with little dialogue.
Zoot is described as a 50-year-old (depressed) burnt-out musician. He plays an alto saxophone and enjoys hourly naps in the day. Speculation about him being homeless is an on and off subject. He is puppeteered by Dave Goelz.
Lips is the trumpet player of the band and speaks the least amount of lines of the band. He doesn't appear with the band as often, but seems to get along with everyone just fine. He was puppeteered by Steve Whitmire and is now puppeteered by Peter Linz.
