(SORRY FOR THE DELAY😭 I was working on a few upcoming books that's why)

6 months later

My, my. It's been six months since she landed here in Northern Mongolia in a crashed jet and was found by her current group of amazing friends, especially Eluna. The Mongolian sweetheart have been Venus' biggest support and pillar just below the two most important men in her life. Her late father and lover. Just saying the word late made her heart clenched but the girl have been healing so well that those sleepless crying nights gradually lessened and replaced with a peaceful warm slumber. Sure it was still a splinter of pain in her heart but the girl managed to bandage her broken heart with independence and self-love. But she would be lying if the lost of her lover didn't bother her until this day because Venus found herself scooting away from all possible romance.

Even when the human population was depending on these youngsters and dating or loving were crucial, Venus found herself waving her hand and shaking her head at any men that approached her. She couldn't digest the life of being with any man other than her previous lover. Though the possibility of him surviving was lower than her PE grades, Venus still held him deep in her heart and wasn't planning on letting either. It hurts to hold on to a possibly dead person but the girl had gotten used to it and eventually found comfort to having him in her imagination instead of her arms. She remembered how skin-crawling it was for her at first and how she adopted a depression disorder in the midst of it and she decided to stop it before it destroyed her. Even with all that pain and agony, she still stood strong and held onto hope.

Why? Because she took his word for it. "I'll be back, my love. I promise" that was what he said before hopping off the jet and battled against the crowd of hungry zombies. Judging by the way the domain exploded and gunshots sang though the airport, Venus figured he might be dead already but she still clenched onto those words. Though it was a difficult promise to keep, she still believed in his character of being a man of his words. And for that, Venus found herself waiting for 6 months so him to somehow jump out and rescue her from this agony but these six months felt like years. She did everything she could to stay sane as she waited and that diary writing was surely one of her best way.

Even though her plan was to wait for her lover, Venus refused to sit around and look pretty. She got her shit together in the day with her physical strength and intelligence to face and complete tasks like assisting in training their hunting animals or regulating the young ones while their parents were away but again, that was in bright daylight. In the night, Venus would spend a lot of time sitting in front of a small platform she made for her father and lower with their pictured and gifts laying on the small platform. She would often skip dinner just to spend time with two pictures and a heart painfully longing for some love from these pictures.

As Venus was staring at the pictures with a cold food in her hand, a soft ring of bell interrupted her. Upon hearing the familiar ringing, the girl turned around with a fond smile. At the curtain of her tent stood a big white reindeer with its head peeping in and nose twitching while the small bell collar around its neck jiggled with gentle ringing. The girl cooed at the reindeer before gesturing it to come in with her hand. The reindeer perked it's ears before it carefully lowered itself to fit into the small tent while trying to avoid destroying it with its big antlers. The girl giggled at the reindeer's cuteness as it snuggled into the tent before resting its head on her laps and laid on its stomach. It's head was big and heavy with its thick skull and long antlers but it adjusted its head to prevent hurting its lovely human.

"Good evening, Bear"

Bear was what Venus named her first and the village's finest reindeer. She obviously named it after her lover and she couldn't help but sighed in nostalgia whenever she called it. She found Bear back when she and the girls went for a bath downhills and it was badly injured as if it was being hunted down. Venus treated Bear with so much TLC that the reindeer quickly grew fond of her. Even when Bear was untamed, he acted so obediently towards the girl that many thought she had succeeded in taming the white reindeer. It didn't take Venus long before mounting onto the reindeer and finally claim him as her domestic animal.
