"Where is your plunging neckline and perfectly formed cleavage?" pansin ni Aria nang pumasok si C.C. sa kanyang opisina.

Tumingin muna ito sa paligid bago sinara ang pinto ng opisina at ni-lock ito.

Inalis ni C.C. ang blouse na suot-suot. Aria wasn't really shocked she did that. She was shocked seeing C.C.'s plump breasts with hickeys all over.

"Is that?"

"Alistair Navarro? Yes."

"Oh my god, C."

Binalik agad nito ang damit. Natatawa si Aria.

"Aria, I finally met a man who could measure up to my stamina!"

"Okay I didn't know what to say."

"So, ano C? Sex lang?" tanong ni Aria. Nagkibit balikat si CC.

"Aria,"

"What?"

"Are we ready for this?"

"Ready for what?" C just looked at Aria and realized what she meant.

"Hindi ko alam, C. Did you know a man almost killed us doon sa diner na tinuro mo?"

"Oh my God, Aria. I'm—"

"It's okay. Seems like Gio was expecting it. Did it ever happen to you?"

"More than once, but I'm your best Lady."

"So the rumors are true," realization ni Aria.

"Aria, why can't we fall in love with normal boys?"

Nagkibit balikat lang si Aria.

"I don't know C, this is probably why we're best friends."

"Also, are you saying you're falling in love?" tanong ni Aria.

"Say you and Gio gets married? Who's going to take over this firm? Are you going to live in Navarro Estate?" balik na tanong ni Aria.

"C? Are you hearing yourself? Me, marrying Gio?"

Tumawa siya. "Don't deny the possibility,"

"You should be ready, in case. Can you run the firm from the Navarro Estate? Mga ganung bagay." pang-aasar ni C. Cassandra could see the annoyance on Aria's face. Pero may shade of pink na ang mga pisngi ni Aria.

"Loka-loka ka, C. That's not gonna happen."

"Eh ikaw, kamusta ang pagiging girlfriend ni Ali?"

"You know what, forget I said that. Back to work, bitch!" sigaw ni C at lumabas ng opisina. Natatawa na lang si Aria.

The current Navarro fortune is from the hacienda. Hindi katulad ng mga nakatatandang Navarro, the Navarro brothers live simply. They have a few luxuries here and there, like cars, exotic pets, extreme hobbies pero it seems like the Navarro brothers found a way to make money with their interests. Say, the motocross park of Alistair Navarro. Machiavelli Navarro owns a veterinary clinic and a pet grooming center. Mayroon din siyang shop for pet essentials na nasa isang commercial building na pagmamay-ari rin niya. Giovanni Navarro meanwhile buys small and medium enterprises and transforms them to be his own, thus him now owning Lizzie's firm. Kapag nakausap at nakatrabaho mo si Gio Navarro, you won't think he's a dangerous man. Gossips say otherwise. To the masses, Gio is still a son of a mafia family. But Lizzie can't see it.

Isang bagay lang ang sigurado si Lizzie, totoong may Scorpions. Pero hanggang doon nalang dapat ang alam niya.

"Sir Gio always in Makati is probably a Scorpion thing." wika ni Lizzie sa kawalan. Since palagi na siyang stressed, napapadalas ang pagdaan niya sa opisina ni Aria. Talking to Aria and C.C. really comforts her these days. Kaso wala naman na si C.C. dito.

"So totoong may Scorpions?" tanong ni Aria.

He's really running a gang!

"Sir Gio won't answer my questions but the group does exists. Hindi ko lang alam kung anong ginagawa nila."

"Ang shady ni Gio." wika ni Aria. "Plus he had a scorpion tattoo on his back." dagdag nito.

Napatigil si Lizzie. "You saw it... The tattoo?"

"Yes."

Bumalik si Lizzie sa kanyang cellphone.

Something must have happened in Palawan.

"There's this woman who always come to his office. And she's pretty, I can't remember her name. She's all smiles and she has the same tattoo," pagkukuwento ni Lizzie.

"Melody?" tanong ni Aria.

"You met her?"

"No. I mean yes. She was shopping with Gio, one of Gio's friends."

Lizzie fell silent.

"I'm curious about him, pero sa PR firm, boss ko pa rin siya. Also, he never speaks about his personal life. Napapansin kong madalas kayong lumabas na dalawa ha?"

Umirap si Aria. Well, technically that's true. Gio keeps showing up in her office.

"If you think he's shady, why do you keep going out with him?" tanong ni Lizzie. Napakibit-balikat si Aria.

"I actually enjoy his company."

Minata siya ni Lizzie.

"And he says you are just pretending. I say you're not." wika ni Lizzie. Aria rolled her eyes.

"Ewan ko. I think he's playing mind games with me. Hindi ko ma-define ang totoo sa hindi,"

"Baka kasi totoo na, at least sa part niya?" tanong ni Lizzie. Hindi sumagot si Aria.

"What about your part, Aria?"

Aria did not look up from her phone. Ano nga ba ang nararamdaman niya para kay Gio?

"He's still a Navarro." sagot niya.

"Well, he still is." pagsang-ayon ni Lizzie.

"Aria, you're a woman of unusual dates. How come napapayag ka ni Sir Gio sa mga simpleng dining out? Saan ka dinadala ni Sir Gio?" tanong ni Lizzie.

"We usually eat out, and get chased by assassins. I qualify that as unusual."

Tumawa si Lizzie.

"You do know that you two look good together, right?"

Aria rolled her yes. She knows. And she agrees. But still.

"He's still a Navarro, Liz."
