𝙼𝚎𝚊𝚗𝚠𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎Klaus was in a dark, isolated alleyway surrounded by tens of bodies, each drained of blood and their hearts ripped out of their chests. Klaus was angry. He needed to lash out. But why? Why did he feel this way? His confusion to what he was feeling was the reason for his anger. Klaus' eyes glowed amber as his anger rose. He knew Marcel and Amara could do whatever they wanted but why...why was he so bothered? He should be glad that Amara was no longer bothering him.
Klaus managed to calm himself down before making his way back home where he was met by Elijah. Rebekah and Kol must have already gone to bed because they weren't there.
"Niklaus, what have you done?" Elijah sighed when he saw the state of his brother. He was covered head to toe in blood.
"I decided to eat out tonight." Klaus said like it was no big deal.
"So if I read the paper tomorrow, there won't be an article about tens of bodies found all drained of blood and missing their hearts?" Elijah said. He knew his brother well. He would always lash out whenever he was feeling uncomfortable or angry.
"You'll never know if you just don't read the paper." Klaus said. "Then you're happy and so am I."
"You can't keep doing this. Lashing out on people when you're angry. People are going to notice and if the humans find out there's a supernatural community leaving amongst them, they will come for us." Elijah said.
"Okay, spare me the lectures." Klaus said, heading towards the stairs.
"Aren't you going to clean up your mess?" Elijah asked.
"Dear brother, could you do it for me please? Klaus said with a small pout.
Elijah rolled his eyes and used his vampire speed to leave the compound and clear the bodies Klaus left. Klaus showered and changed his clothes, all whilst thinking about these emotions he was feeling. He walked down the hallway when he stopped at Amara's room. He decided to slowly open the door and creep inside before closing it. Amara was fast asleep. She looked very peaceful as she slept. Klaus realised this was a good time to get inside her head and see what it was she was always lost in. He sat down on one of the chairs near her bed, carefully grabbing her hand. He gasped and pulled his hand away when he felt a sensation where their hands touched, like a spark. Klaus shook his head and decided to ignore it before slowly slipping his hand in hers and closing his eyes.
"Elijah, I can't do it. It's too hard." Amara said.
"You're not even trying." Elijah said.
"Okay, one more time." She sighed.
Elijah was teaching Amara how to operate a bow and arrow. Unfortunately, she wasn't doing very well. Elijah turned to pick up another arrow when Amara felt an arm pull her away. She gasped, about to scream when she realised the person who took her was Klaus.
"Niklaus! You scared me!" Amara exclaimed.
"I'm sorry my love but I needed to pull you away. I have something for you." He said with a soft smile.
He pulled a necklace out from his pocket. Amara gasped. In her eyes, that necklace was the most beautiful necklace she had ever seen.
"Niklaus, I...."
"Do you like it?"
"I love it."
"I got you this necklace as a symbol of our love. So you know, even when I'm not physically with you, I'm still with you."
Amara turned around and Klaus put the necklace around her neck. He smiled and left a kiss on her neck before she turned around to face him.
"You're my everything, my love." Amara said before leaning in to give him a kiss.
Klaus opened his eyes, shocked at everything he just saw. That was him. But at the same time, it wasn't. That couldn't be real, could it? It must've been a dream. Klaus remembered the necklace. He knew that necklace. But how would Amara know? He got up and walked closer to her and to his horror, he saw Amara wearing the same necklace from the vision. Not knowing what to do or how to react, Klaus left in a hurry, not wanting to think about any of this.

Klaus looked at Amara as she sat with the rest of the family around the table for breakfast. He felt sad. He didn't know why. He didn't know what was going on. He watched as Amara laughed, showing one of the most radiant smiles he had ever seen. His chest felt heavy. His heart felt heavy and he didn't know why. That was the one question that was constantly floating in his mind. Why? He immediately got up from the table and just left the compound. He needed air. He walked down the streets of New Orleans. The music, the people, the atmosphere had a way of cheering him up when he was down.
"Niklaus, it's me, my love." She said, raising her hand to touch his cheek when he stepped back, making Amara's heart shatter.
"Elijah, who is this crazy woman calling me love?" Klaus laughed. "First off, I'm Klaus Mikaelson. Klaus. Not Niklaus. Only my family and loved ones call me Niklaus. Second of all, I don't know who you are calling me love because I don't know you. Now I don't know if you're a spy or not but if you are, well, Love, you'll regret being born."
Klaus sighed, remembering how he and Amara met when she arrived.
"Klaus, hey." He heard. It was Marcel. "Everything okay?"
"Yeah, I just needed some air." Klaus said. "So Amara tells us you asked her on a date."
"Yeah, she's amazing. We spoke for hours yesterday. I know I have a past with Rebekah. I hope that doesn't bother you." He explained.
"No. She seems like a special girl. Treat her well."
