"You could have saved me!" the Candor man screamed at me. His voice was so loud that even the loud engine of the bus couldn't even mask it. I almost jumped out of the chair. Panicking I scanned the room I was in. Tori, my administrator had a confused look on her face "Give me a second please." She said and walked out of the room I stared at my reflection on the mirror at my left side. The shoulder length hazel colored hair; long and pointed nose and my storming grey eyes filled of fear right now and of course the blue top with white straight skirt (classic Erudite uniform). Tori came back, grabbed me by my elbow and pulled me towards the back door, "Get out from the back door before any of the Erudite inspectors comes in. Tell your family that the device used to administer your test had gone corrupt. Right now I have entered your result manually saying that it was Erudite." I could sense the nervousness in her voice. "What was my result exactly? I have to choose something at the ceremony tomorrow." "Your results were inconclusive. They call it....." "Divergent yes I know that." I made sure that I said the word in a low tone. Divergence wasn't something to talk about in front of anyone. "So, tomorrow I have to choose all on my own."  I summed it up. Tori nodded slowly. "Best of luck Emily" with that she shoved me out the back door. At the entrance gate of the school were two guards dressed in bodyguard uniform. Once they saw me their backs stiffened. One of them opened the door of the car for me. I hopped in. When I reached at the entrance of the headquarters a hand touched the back of my leg. I turned and saw a factionless girl, around 7 years. She had her fingers of one hand collapsed together and was pointing towards her mouth- the gesture for food. After a hot second I started rummaging through my backpack to give her my packed lunch. Just then two guards came and grabbed the girl from the elbows and started dragging her out of the compound. I did open my mouth, but words didn't come out. I felt something weird. I felt bad for her. I felt sympathy.
