Poem: "Sun" (Unfinished)

4 1 3

You wake up
Every morning
Open your eyes
Raise the blinds
Flood the room with
Sun

Your toast is warm
Butter spread
The smell of coffee
Fills your head
With
Sun

The morning rain
Patters down your
Yellow umbrella
Splash your way
Through the cloudy
Sun

He takes your ticket
The ticket man
Punches it through
Up the steps
Watching the rising
Sun

See the world
Flying by
Resting your head
Against the window
That reflects the
Sun

You step outside
The chilly air
Whipping your hair
Shielding your eyes
From the
Sun
