Buford sits at a bar will sipping on a drink. A woman sits down next to him. Buford smiles
BUFORD B. JUSTICE
I won.
Pan to see Baby Enos sitting next to him.
BABY ENOS BURDETTE
C'mon, Buford. We both knew you would.
BUFORD B. JUSTICE
Kid's got a hell of a future ahead of him, and some large shoes to fill.
BABY ENOS BURDETTE
Something tells me he won't try to fill anybody's shoes. That kid's gonna make his own name.
Buford shrugs his shoulders as he taps on the table, both asking for another round and for Baby Enos to pay up. Baby Enos shakes her head as she lays a single penny on the table.
BABY ENOS BURDETTE
You could've made so much more money off of this.
BUFORD B. JUSTICE
You're endorsement for the sheriff of Van Zandt County is enough.
Buford turns to Baby Enos as he takes a sip of his next drink and winks at her. He wraps an arm gently around her as Baby Enos asks for two more drinks.
