"I hate to say this to you, Y/N," Her friend, Andrea started, "but we told you that it wasn't a good idea."

Y/N gave her 'friend' a side-eye, her elbows stuck to the knobs of her knees as her palms flattened out to rest on the scalp of her head. She sniffled soundly in an attempt to gather all the liquid that had managed to escape in her moment of vulnerability.

"Thanks, Andrea."

Y/N snagged a tissue from her friends' outstretched hand, sympathy making itself known on her face but Y/N couldn't help but feel odd about it.

"I'm just saying, if only you listened to us," Andrea dragged out the last couple words to emphasize her message. Eyes eerily eyeing her with a tenor of animosity.

Y/N huffed in annoyance. Was she trying to comfort her or make herself feel worse?

"I want to be alone,"

Andrea nodded almost immediately, getting up from her crouched position in front of her.  She grabbed her bag and walked out the door with a slam against the frame with no further words.

The silence encompassed Y/N's body and she couldn't help but shiver from the chilly air of her apartment. Her mind was loud and busy despite the pounding headache that had ravaged through her since she woke up this morning.

It had been weeks since Harry broke up with Y/N. Weeks since the horrible images made itself known in Y/N's life and frankly, she didn't know how to handle the unexpected.

Louise was someone that she had known while she was in diapers. They went to school together and suffered through the first year of college hand in hand. They shared everything with each other from clothing to food. Y/N didn't think that she would be sharing her own goddamn boyfriend with her.

Seeing their lips locked together in a blurry, pixelated screen was enough to hurt like an iron-punch to her stomach. Y/N felt like she was about to puke her guts out and that wasn't even the worst feeling for that day. Her heart ached in discomfort and it seemed that nothing could quell the pain except for Harry—who caused the hurt in the first place.

It was out of the blue if she was honest. It took her by surprise because not once did Louise make a move on Harry or vice versa—or maybe she was too up in her own little world to notice the flirting they probably shared. Too happy to be with a man that she could only find in her dreams that she had disregarded everything to could have taken him away from her. Harry and Louise were platonic as far as Y/N was concerned. Louise has her own boyfriend so Y/N never had to worry about the chances of losing Harry.

But then again, her self-esteem was already in the dumps, especially now that she found herself comparing her and Louise. Y/N was partial with her rating: her appearance wasn't too bad but it wasn't Louise-like gorgeous. Her personality was something to be proud of but she guessed that she wasn't as extroverted as Louise.

She usually wouldn't have done this, but there was no other reason why Harry could do this. Theories bounced in her head and she was about to go mad from trying to handle them all. Did he cheat on her? Was Harry just using her? Has Louise told her boyfriend about this? She was nearing the edge of insanity with each idea that passed through her senses. The only way to know the truth was from him, yet he wasn't around anymore.
