Caroline's POV

I was relieved to see that my mom was okay when I got home. Even though she's the sheriff of the town, she still needed to be protected from all of the other things going on this town that she didn't know about. I'm so happy that I have Klaus, if I didn't have him I'd have no one to turn to when evrything gets crazy. I really love my mom, but it's difficult to be around her, she is so oblivious to all of the supernatural things happening around her. I often have to sneak around and walk on egg shells around her as well. It's exhausting to be home, but I had to make sure that she was safe. As I sat in the living room, my mom approached me.

"Hey sweetie, how was the sleepover?" she asked with a smile on her face.

"It was great mom,all my friends say hi!"

"Oh well tell them to come here next time, we should all have dinner together!"

She replied with such a genuine look as she smiled at me and that smile killed me every time. Every time I saw her I couldn't help but to be filled with guilt. I couldn't stand having a huge secret kept from her, but where would I start? How can I ever tell her the truth? How can I tell my mom that I'm a vampire...

Damon's POV

As we walked in the woods I couldn't help but to keep glancing at Bonnie, she was just so beautiful and amazing. Part of me felt sorry for her though, she did everything for everyone around her and she always ended up worn out. She still managed to stay persistent no matter the curciumstances. it must be exauhsting, having all that power just to be taken advantage of. I always volunteered to help Bonnie and stay by her side through any difficult time. Although she had close friends, they were pretty much worthless compared to her and she always ended up on top. She looked after everyone and protected them, but no one looked out for her. I plan to change that and protect her at all costs, even it takes my own life I'll be reassured that someone protected her for once. That is why I tried to handle the Amilia problem alone, I just didn't want to see Bonnie get hurt, but I couldn't say that to her, not out loud and not yet...

Klaus' POV

My mansion felt so empty without Caroline here. It was good that she was home though, her mom would be worried about her and it was too early to tell her about us yet. With everything going on, it was hard to believe that we'll ever be able to find the right time. The room was quiet, almost too quiet. There was a vampire nearby, I could feel it and my instincts seemed to be right because I suddenly heard a light knock on the door. I opened the door only to see Stefan standing in the doorway, his face looked distraught but serious at the same time. I let him come in as he rushed over to the couch. "Welcome Stefan, how can I help you? I asked politely while trying to cover up my confusion about why he was here in the first place.

"Let's just get to the point Klaus, I know where to find Amelia." Stefan said in a rush.

"Okay, Stefan care to share the location." I asked.

"She's just out of mystic falls, I realized it when I went to the border of town but there was a forcefield blocking any vampire or witch to cross the town line. I'm sure Bonnie can find a spell to take it down though. I don't have her exact location, but I know she left town and she put up a wall to prevent us from finding her, so she must not be that far. It's not an exact location, but it's a start and we may be able to stop her before she finds a way to become more powerful and comes back to kill us all." Stefan explained.

"Well, let Damon know what you've found and we can ask for Bonnie's help and leave town tomorrow." I replied before noticing Stefan giving me a strange look.

"Bonnie and Caroline right? Aren't you going to tell Caroline to come with us, knowing her, she wouldn't want to be left out." Stefan Asked.

"I'm not sure if it's completely necassary for Caroline to come, it would be easier to take care of the problem before it reaches her again." I replied as Stefan continued to look at me strangely.

"Okay well I guess it's up to you then, but I'm sure she will find out and show up anyway, I'll see you tomorrow." Stefan replied with a hesistent voice.

Before he could get up from the couch, there was a kncok at the door. I went to answer it. It was Elena.

"Well apparently we are having a party at my house that I didn't even know about!" I said jokingly.

"I'm just here to pick up Stefan, we have some things to talk about tomorrow." Elena said as she gave Stefan a small smile.

They both headed to the door and closed it behind them as they left and I sat down on the couch once again. The house went silent again as it remained empty as I sat alone while thinking about the now known plan between Stefan and I as I contemplated telling Caroline about it.
