It was already 2nd of December. Yep. My birthday is coming up, and I'm not even excited. For sure, my parents will throw a big party for my birthday, but I'm not excited unlike before. There's something missing, but I bet it's someone.
The three-day examination is today too, and I'm hella ready for it. I just want it to end, so that I can relax and spend my time at home playing video games, and more eating.
If you're wondering about Lia. We don't talk. At all. After that apology, I tried to approach her, but she still kept on avoiding me. I'm still trying though.
"Since your course is related to Arts. Your last project will be decorating our mini-arena for Christmas. Because this year college students will have a Christmas Ball. It's a miracle. I know, but you will have it" It is a miracle. College students don't get this often. But goodness decorating the whole mini arena? It'll take weeks for sure.
"Your block is in charge of the decorating since you have the most creative students" Our professor said. Creative my a**. Most of them bully other students to make their projects.
"Hey Soobin will you go to ball with me?" Oh that was quick. I glanced at Lia who was fixing her things, and looked back to the girl who just asked me.
"Sorry. No" I smiled, and left the classroom.
LIA'S POV
"Hey Soobin will you go to ball with me?" When I heard that I started to slowly put my things in my bag. I was waiting for his answer. I was nervous, my heart was beating fast. What if he says yes? I'm still hoping for him to come back. I'm certain you're curious why I'm not talking to him. It's because I'm testing him. If he's really sincere.
"Sorry. No" That made me smile. I walked out of the room.

It was the first day of the decorating week, and we already have the plan. I started getting the garlands, and started to decorate the sides of the stage. I noticed that everyone was working in pairs, and I was the only one there who's decorating by myself. It made me feel a bit lonely, but at least I could work peacefully.
"Soobin please help me putting these up?" I heard my blockmate flirtatiously said.
"Me too?" "Same here?"
I rolled my eyes. He's such a babe magnet. I didn't hear his response, so I started to focus on decorating again. I thought this was an easy job to do, but the garlands kept on falling off. I sighed in frustration, and did it again. Suddenly, I froze. Hands held mine, and the feeling of someone hugging me from the back made me froze.
"This is how you do it" A familiar voice said. I glanced to my side to see the guy I've been wanting to see up close again. Soobin.
"There you go" Soobin said, and looked at me too.
"Hey" He said smiling at me. I looked away, and told him almost muttering. "Thanks"
I tried to put the designs on again, but my hands were shaking a bit. My heart was beating too fast, and I could feel my body heating up. For once, I couldn't feel the coldness of winter.
I noticed that Soobin was smiling beside me, so I glared at him. He pursed his lips, and continued to fix the garlands. I turned around, and saw four girls rolling their eyes and glaring at me.
"What?" I mouthed at them, and rolled my eyes at them. This isn't a drama they can watch all day.
"I'm sorry" Soobin suddenly spoke. "For what?" I asked hiding the nervousness in my voice.
"For everything" He looked at me once again, but I didn't dare to look back at him again. I can't give in now. Not now, I still can't do that. I'm still scared, what if she comes back and hesitates on me again? Not now.
