April 14, 20XX Tuesday pt. iv 'Taehyung POV'
"You sure you want to be here?" Jungkook asks me.
I zone back in to what's happening around me, everyone lounging around the campfire at Hoseok's.
The attention's turned to me and I hate it.
I nod my head, turning to give Jungkook a tiny smile with all the energy I could.
When everyone starts to chatter again, I relax into my seat, watching Namjoon try to blow out his burnt-to-a-Crip 'mallow.
"Anywhere is better than being at home right now." I tell Jungkook quietly.
Anywhere.
My mother has been all over me and it's gotten a bit controlling.
I don't complain though. I understand that she almost lost me once and she's just worried about losing me again.
"How are the twins?" Jungkook asks.
"Quieter these days. They want to visit her, but I don't let them. They're just going to try and get us together again and it's just..."
Just not right.
She shouldn't get with me because of the pressure.
"She knows by the way..." I glance up at Jungkook who raises his eyebrows. "She knows that you bring over Yejoon."
He quickly sits up on his chair, eyes wide.
"Hey everyone~" Jimin suddenly strolls in, hands in his pocket as he playfully raises the pitch of his voice.
"Woah...Jimin!" Hoseok connects his hands with Jimin.
"Where have you been?" Yoongi chews on a piece of meat, warmed by the fire.
Jimin shrugs, smirk on his face. "Same old, same old. Just enjoying life."
Namjoon shakes his head.
Jimin makes eye contact with Jungkook and quickly looks away, biting his lip.
Jungkook looks over at me, changing his expression from distaste to one of "don't worry about it".
I raise an eyebrow and look at Jimin, who starts to walk over.
"Hey."
"Hi, Jimin."
He unfolds a chair and has a seat next to me. "How's work?"
"Crazy," I chuckle, trying to lift the mood.
"It was the right choice," Jimin says, "working with Irene and her business."
Jungkook shifts in his chair.
"Right."
"You would've done that, you know."
"Jimin." Jungkook scolds, through his teeth.
I'm uncomfortable.
"I'm going to grab a drink." I struggle to say, needing some air.
Getting up, I rush inside the house.
I grab a cup and quickly fill it with water and chugging it down.
It's not helping.
My hand goes into my pocket, but I immediately stop myself.
Don't.
Hearing someone come into the house, I opt out of the smoke and drink more water.
"I'm here...anyone home?"
I stay quiet until I see who it is come into the kitchen.
"Taehyung." She says, quickly dropping her bag of snacks and running over to me for a hug.
Yeri.
"Look at you, you haven't been sleeping at all!" She cups my face and frowns.
I start to tear up, overwhelmed that I might be looking as bad as I feel.
"Yeri, I..."
"I'm sorry, Tae. I'm sorry that I haven't been around you as much as I should have...after the accident."
I wipe my tears away. "Jungkook has helped. He's been here for me."
"Good. I'm in my last year at school so it's been busy, but I should be more free now."
I nod, feeling a bit better.
Yeri turns around and grabs her snacks, handing me a bag of popcorn from one of the places we used to go to after my soccer games.
The familiarity comforts me.
"Yeri?"
"Hm?" She looks up at me with her round eyes.
"Can I ask you for some advice?"
She looks at me for a while before smiling,
"Go ahead."

Author's note;;
I hope that this POV helped you understand a little bit more about everyone else on Taehyung's side. What do you think of him asking for Yeri's advice? Does that make you nervous? What about Jungkook and Jimin? There's some tension between them.
