Part 19

As Jaemin walked outside holding your arm, he couldn't help but to remember the past month Even now he could not begin to understand what had happened. What laid in the box was an orb filled with pure Yang energy that Taeil harvested. Kun had flooded the energy into your system and it went to war with the Yin energy. They thought they had lost you a fews times but apparently Taeil was able to sync his mind with yours and help allow the Yang energy to overtake the Yin. As a result you were saved but fell into a deep slumber that had lasted two weeks. Taeil was out for three days after his encounter in your mind.

Kun said that you had lost a lot of sleep these past weeks and it would take awhile for your body to recover as well as your mind. So it was natural that you had not woken up.

But then two weeks and three and a half days later, you finally woke up. You could talk and you remembered them! Jaemin couldn't help but to cry afterwards. He wasn't sure but Renjun and Chenle may have cried as well. He was too busy with his own tears then. After that, it had taken you about a week later before you were well enough to walk around. The Dreamies wanted you to stay in bed for a longer time but you insisted that you were feeling a lot better.

Kun had given the okay for you to start moving around which was why the Dreamies took turns walking around with you. Today was Jaemin's turn.

You looked around in the garden just before the forest taking in the sight and sounds. It seemed like ages since you were able to just enjoy the feel of such simple pleasures. Fall was beginning to settle in. You felt something wrap around your shoulders and looked to see that Jaemin was situating a blanket around your shoulders.

"I'm not cold but thank you", you said.

Jaemin waved you off, "I don't want you to catch a chill."

You were pretty sure it was only about the low 70's, maybe a flat 80 degrees but you didn't say anything as he dropped beside you. It was a comfortable silence for awhile before you finally spoke, "I want to go back to NCT. I want to see Jeno and Jisung."

WayV and the vampire Dreamies had been esatic when you voluntarily mentioned them the first time after you woke up. And your heart rate had remained steady. Kun took this as a good sign but he had not given the okay for you to travel.

Until yesterday.

But Renjun, Jaemin and Chenle were still a bit overprotective and wanted you to stay put longer. But you knew if you could convince Jaemin, that Renjun and Chenle would be easy after that. After all, the loudest one against it was Jaemin.

You weren't even looking at Jaemin but you could feel him straighten, "Noona...."

You looked at him then, "I think it's past time. I've been here for what...2 months now?"

"Yeah, but..."

"Jaemin-ah...."

"I just want to make sure you are okay!"

"Kun-ge says that I am."

Jaemin ran a hand through his hair, "I know! But you still need to rest."

You gave an indulgent smile, "Inside of two weeks, then."

"Noona...."

"Are you trying to keep them from seeing me? I'm okay now. I don't think I would have a reaction to them like I did before. And if I did, I'm sure you'd cart me back here." You gave a small laugh that Jaemin didn't share.

Jaemin didn't think he could ever laugh about this time.

He looked so serious you cocked your head, "What's wrong?"
