I pinned my hair up momentarily with a bobbin pin, finishing the second braid, and also clipping that one as I began on the third. Once I finished that, I unpinned the other two, finally finishing them off in a bun, tying that with a sandy blonde - same as my hair colored - hair tie. I sighed, admiring myself in the mirror. I put a slip on, then crawled into the elegant, light honey colored ball gown.

'Hm.'I frowned, looking down at my feet that I probably couldn't reach without messing up my dress.

"Vivid?" I called, needing assistance badly.

Vivid came in, wearing a silky, forest green cocktail dress with a side-tie.

"Woah! Looks like you just got mauled by a pygmy puff." Vivid laughed, looking at the dress.

"Very funny. Could you help me put my shoes on?" I asked sweetly, giving her puppy dog eyes.

"Yeah, of course. And you know I meant it as a joke, you look beautiful, Lillian." Vivid complimented, making me blush.

Vivid slipped the silver high heels over my feet, strapping them at the ankle and helping me to my feet.

"Looks like you're all ready to go!" Vivid said. "Let me go do my hair and I'll join you."

I dashed back into my bathroom, plugging the hot iron into the outlet. While it heated, I popped the black rose studs into my pierced ears. Once the iron heated, I began to work on my hair, curling it delicately so that it created a beautiful wave.

"Ready?" I heard Lillian ask after some time.

"As I'll ever be!" I shouted back, checking myself in the mirror one more time before coming out to join Lillian and walk to the dance.
