"Dashiell, slow down! You might hurt yourself!"
Today the twins are at school, and I'm with Dash, here at home. He is already in 5th grade, while the twins are in 9th.
Naglalaro sila ng bestfriend niyang si Jazrielle, ng habulan dito sa loob ng bahay at kung saan saan na umaakyat ang bunso ko. Baka mamaya, mahulog siya at mabagok ang ulo, baka ikamatay ko 'to!
Jaz and Dash, had been friends since kindergarten. Nagulat nga ako, dahil nung una ay kabado pa si Dash pumasok just like any other kid in their first day of school. But when I picked him up, I saw him with a small girl and that was Jaz.
They've been friends for so long, na magkaibigan na rin kami ng mga magulang ni Jazrielle. At minsan pa, dito pa siya natutulog sa 'min at doon siya natutulog sa kwarto ni Dashiell.
Ang mga kambal naman, ay malaki-laki na rin. They're already complaining how hard high school is, but they still get to be in the honor's list.
Sa 'kin talaga nila namana ang katalinuhan.
"Mommy!"
Nagulat nalang ako nang mag-tago si Dash sa likod ko, at dumating naman si Jaz na hingal na hingal at pawis na pawis tulad ni Dashiell.
"Ang daya mo naman!" Jaz pouted and crossed her arms on her chest.
"Nako! Jusko kayong mga bata kayo! Hala, oh! Pawis na pawis na kayo!" Sabi ko habang naka pamewang.
"Come on, mom! We're just having fun!" Dash said at umakbay kay Jazrielle.
"Yeah, Tita! We're just having fun," Jaz giggled.
These kids.
"O siya, magpalit muna kayo. I will serve you kids, spaghetti. Alright?" I smiled at them.
"Yey! Spaghetti!" They both said happily and ran upstairs.
I just chuckled, and shook my head and got back to cooking this spaghetti for the kids. I was still stirring the sauce, when I saw the twins that just got back home from school.
"Hi baby girls," I greeted them and gave them kiss on the cheeks.
"Hi, Mom!" Aura greeted happily.
"Hey, Mom," Aria looked exhausted.
"What's with our energy, Ari?" I asked laughing.
"She's exhausted," Aura giggled. "Is that spaghetti?" She asked.
"Yeah. I cooked it for the kids," I answered.
"Great, we could use a meal," Ari said and sat down the bar chair.
"Ay, bakit? Bata ka ba?" Sambit ko habang naka-tingin sa kanya.
Narinig kong tumawa si Aura.
Mapipikon ko nanaman anak ko.
"Mom! Just, please! I'm hungry, I'm exhausted. I just want to eat and rest," Aria said close to crying.
"Aww," I pouted and walked closer to Ari and gave her a hug.
"Ma, hindi na ako bata," giit niya.
"Pero kung umakto ka, parang bata," umirap ako kahit alam kong hindi niya makikita 'yon.
"Kanina pa 'yan ganyan, Mommy! Jusko!" Aura exclaimed.
