Bundle of lies

Do you see me?

Of Course, you do.

But do you ever really see me?

I don't think so.

When I smiled, you saw the brimming optimism

But did you see the overwhelming fear?

When I talked, you saw the commanding confidence

But did you see the thirst for attention?

When I walked, you saw the mesmerizing grace

But did you see the overactive conscious?

When I laughed, you saw the carefree joy

But did you see the underlying sorrow?

When I cried, you saw uninhibited emotion

But did you see the emptiness inside?

No, you didn't.

Cause not everything is meant for everyone's eyes

I hide behind a curtain of a mirrored glass

An ironic bundle of lies

The masks that I wear are endless

You can choose which one you would like

For I don't know who I am myself

And I'll be whatever it is that you decide.
