"Did you tell him?" Happy asked.
I shook my head "He's gone."
"Gone? Gone where?"
"Just gone."
"No, no, no! Why would he do something this stupid?"
"He thinks it's the only way to keep us all safe."
"I've gotta go find him! I promised Tony I'd keep him safe!"
"How could you even know where he's going to be?"
"I've got to try!"
"You can't just go as well. We need to clear Peter's name, otherwise he'll never come back. And someone has to break the news to May."
"But - "
"You owe me, remember?"
"I just - "
"Look, Happy, I want to find Peter as much as you do, and I will. But we've gotta tell May first."
"I know. You're right, but I just... I worry about the kid. He shouldn't have to go through this alone. He should know that we'll be here for him, no matter what."
I smiled sadly "I think that's exactly what he's afraid of."
