"You figured it out?" Yerin asked.
The two were in the film editing studio. Jaemin had brought her there after what had happened in the cafeteria.
"Yeah I did. I figured it all out." Jaemin said, twiddling his thumbs.
"Well." Yerin said, standing up. Jaemin was surprised when the girl took both his hands, holding onto them tightly.
"I forgive you, Jaemin."
"You do?" Jaemin exclaimed, surprised. He knew she would forgive him but had expected that it would take a lot more convincing.
Yerin nodded her head. "Of course I do. We all make mistakes."
Jaemin smiled, pulling the girl into a hug. He rested his chin on her head, bathing in the comfort she gave him. "That's good to hear."
"Plus," Yerin added as she moved back to look up at him.
"I like you too much not to."
...
Tour rehearsal was beginning, and it was definitely tougher than expected. Yerin was thankful for Ten's lesson on conserving energy, otherwise she would have no idea how should would survived.
As the director, Jaemin often attended rehearsals, filming and documenting Mark through the entire process. Occasionally, he would give her a smile or a thumbs up when they met each other's eyes, instantly giving Yerin a boost of energy.
"Oh my gosh, I can barely feel my legs." Jisung groaned he lied, splayed over the dance floor.
Yerin heard Jaemin giggling from the corner as he began packing his gear.
Before Yerin could go to the drama king's side, Mark was there, helping the younger up.
"Yeah I know right." Mark said as Jisung stood up again. "Taeyong's choreography is really hard."
The two began walking away chatting so Yerin took the opportunity to move to Jaemin's side. "Heading home?"
Jaemin nodded. "Yeah, I think my days of staying late in the studio are over. You?"
"I'm going to head home too." Yerin said with a small smile.
With her going on tour with the rest soon, she would be away from her parents. At this point, she was beginning to step away from her family, starting a new path, a new career. And it was all around dance.
"Let me walk you out then." Jaemin said, taking her hand as they moved towards the school exit.
...
"Jaemin." Jeno said, poking his friend.
Jaemin took out his air pods that were blasting music so he could hear his friend. "Yeah?"
"What are you doing tomorrow night?" Jeno asked him.
"I have nothing planned, why?" Jaemin asked back.
"Tomorrow's my last day on set." Jeno told him. "You should come visit it, since you were supposed to be part of it all anyways."
"Am I allowed?" Jaemin asked, raising an eyebrow. Jeno nodded his head with a smile.
"Yeah, I already cleared it with the director."
Jaemin noticed something fishy with his friend. It seemed as though Jeno was holding something back.
"Is there something else?" Jaemin asked. Jeno seemed surprised by the question.
"Huh?"
"There's another reason why you want me to go, right?" Jaemin clarified.
