I decide to just roam around London before I decide what happens next.
I walk around aimlessly going wherever my feet can take me. As I am walking I notice a bookshop so I decide to check it out. I walk around the shop touching a few books here and there that’s until I find a book by Marcus Martinez, my dad’s book it’s titled The Way to Prosperity. I decide to buy the book; it wouldn’t hurt to read something wrote by dad right.

And so I purchase my book and walk out. Not far from the bookshop I notice a guy staring at me and for a moment I think it Monty but the guy disappears so I don’t have time to confirm that it was him but am sure if it was Monty he could have approached me so it must be someone else.

All of a sudden I get a sense of uneasiness like am being followed, I try to ignore the feeling.
So I walk towards the park where mum used to take us with Darian.
Maybe if I stay in a public place my stalker is going to give up. It’s now almost 4pm, I can’t believe I’ve been reading this whole time though am not much of a reader but dad’s book is actually pretty good.

It’s about a girl who runs away from home to pursue her dream of becoming a singer since her parents are against it. I only have a few pages to finish but I will just finish it home.

I laugh at myself inwardly, am still calling that house home even when it doesn’t feel like it.

I close my book and place it in my backpack for later. That’s when I notice that the park is almost empty. Wow, I was so immersed in the book that I didn’t notice people living. I get up to leave but am blocked by two huge guys and they look like trouble with the thousand tattoos on their bodies plus some piercings here and there.

“Uhm, ca… can I please pass,” I stutter. Damn they scare me

“Knock her out.” Those are the last words I hear before I see black
