ON THE RUN

New people

I can’t muster any more words right now so I just nod my head and bury my head deeper into Monty’s chest.
Damn he smells so good. I could get used to these cuddles but I know this is just short-lived.

I have more important stuff to care about. I don’t know how long I stay in Monty’s arms, am broken back to reality when there is a knock on the door.

I lift my head up to see the person who just had to interrupt my cuddling session.
The door bursts open to reveal a very cute guy; he is tall but not as tall as Monty. The white shirt he is wearing reveals the hundred tattoos he has underneath. His blond hair is messy but it looks good. He has hazel eyes. His face makes me think about a grizzly bear.

Monty gets up and they give each other a bro shake while I just stare like a dummy

“She is cuter than I expected.” The guy says more to himself but loud enough for all of us to hear him

“Shut it dunderhead,” Monty says while slapping him playfully

The guy comes and sits on the bed with me

“hey there cutie, am Xander.” He says and leans in for a hug. I hug him back

I could really get used to all this affection. It feels so good

“am Cassie.” I say with a smile

“what’s your favorite color?” he asks
“black, grey and blue.” I answer

“your favorite food?” he asks again
“Chips.” I answer

“favorite artist?” Xander asks again
“Post Malone and Juice WRLD” I say

“OK, I like you already.” He says with a very big smile.

I also already like him. He talks a lot but I can handle it and he reminds me of Darian

“you are quite the character.” I say while laughing

Monty just stands looking at us like we are some precious piece of art. Me and Xander continue asking each other silly questions while Monty keeps himself busy on the phone though I notice him glancing at me a few times

“so what did my man here do to you?” Xander asks “he is quite the ladies man.” He finishes

The question attracts Monty’s attention and he jumps on Xander. They start fighting playfully and I laugh my lungs out

“that is certainly not true, I am not a lady’s man.” Monty defends himself

“Cassie should give the conclusion.” Xander suggests and they all look at me eagerly

“I think Monty is the ladies man.” I say with a giggle and the look on Monty’s face is priceless

Me and Xander laugh at him but later on he joins and we all laugh like the total idiots we certainly are. Then my stomach decides to make an announcement by rumbling.
Due to all the chit-chat with these guy I even forgot that I was hungry.

“Monty, I see you’ve been starving the lady here. Where are your manners?” Xander says and Monty gives him the death stare

“let’s go grab a bite.” Monty says

I get up and notice that am still wearing a shirt only. The guys notice it too and they just stare at me wildly as is if am some precious jewel.

“could you please get me some clothes instead of staring at me like that.” I say heatedly

“yah right,” Monty says while scratching his head then goes out to get me something decent to wear.
