Holding Back Tears - Chapter 4
Shellington POV: A few days before the funeral I was feeling more down than usual. It had been three days since the Captain died. Fights had broken up on the Octopod more frequently than before. Tweak and Kwazzi fought over who had let the Captain die on them. Tweak said that it was Kwazzi's job to protect the Captain. Kwazii said Tweak had distracted Peso too much and he was not able to care for him. I had to break up the fights on this topic many times. The only people who were happy together were me and Dashi. Dashi walked into my room, sat on the bed, slipped her hand into mine and squeezed it. I knew that she was sad and terrified. After the Captain died Kwazzi took over command. Sometimes, he did stuff before thinking and that ended up, well it's better not to know.. Most of the time the rest of the Octonauts look up to me for advice. It kind of freaks me out because if something happens, I'll be the one to blame.
