I. RICKY BOWEN WAS dating Nini Salazar-Roberts, they had finally been reunited when she was accepted into a performing arts school. She decided to stay for a while to work on their relationship before making a decision to leave. They wanted to make it work long distance — Ricky wanted to make it work. He tried to but it was, indefinitely, over this time.
II. EJ CASWELL WAS still trying to find himself, something he thought wouldn't still to happen as a senior. Although, between juggling his college applications, water polo and theatre it was getting hard. Then the aggravatingly charming Ricky Bowen was added to the mix when everyone decided they needed to stop squabbling and become friends.
III. FRIENDS ENDEDUP being a relative term when they ended up getting to know each other a little better than they wanted to. Ricky proposes they get over themselves and just leave it all in the bedroom but they both have issues to work out and secrets to keep. Like what had happened at New Year's? And why did Ricky and Nini really break up?
