Chaeyoung can feel soreness all throughout her body and another weight that was wrapped around her left arm. She tried to move her arm and only to feel that the warmness around it disappear. Minutes after, she tried to regain her consciousness by opening her eyes and was met by sets of eyes looking at her. Lisa and the doctor that was attending Jisoo too were in front of her. She glanced around the room trying to find her favorite pair of cat eyes but to her dismay, the woman was nowhere to be found.
"What...What happened?" As she tried to lift her body up while Lisa helped her out
"You were found unconscious in your house yesterday"
"Yesterday?"
"Yes, and you've been at rest for almost 18 hours now" the doctor answered after glancing at his wristwatch "You've experienced over-fatigue that led you to lost your consciousness. This is often coming from over-working yourself, stress, or any organ deficiency. We already checked all the things needed and there were no problems with your internal organs so I suggest that you need to slow down on things, take good care of your body, eat healthily, and clear your mind for a while. I understand the stress that you're encountering right now but I need you to focus on recovering, Okay?"
"Okay, doc. I understand."
"Good"
Silence took over the two best friends after the doctor and nurses went out. Chaeyoung locked eyes with Lisa and immediately, tears ran down from her eyes.
"Oh no, don't look at me like that" Lisa commented as she comes closer to her best friend while Rosie covered her face with her hands
"I fucked up"
"And I could've stopped you from doing shitty things if you just told me about that suzy" while Lisa sat beside her
"I know" as rosie wiped her tears "Where is my wife?"
"She's next door" Lisa answered pertaining to Jisoo's room
"Oh" chaeyoung displayed sadness on her face. Of course, her wife doesn't want anything else to do with her anymore. That only, when she's supposed to be here not there. Lisa handed her some tissue as she cried more
"Dude, slow down! I swear if you pass out again, Jennie will literally kill me"
"What do you mean kill you? She's not even here"
"She was here. She just called me earlier when she felt you moved" Maybe she's the one sleeping beside me. Her heart clenched a little at the thought that Jennie was there for her but the heaviness is still there knowing that her wife doesn't want to see her
"You think she's still mad?"
"Oh, not really. Just mad-mad"
"In my defense, It helped us with the case"
"Yeah but that doesn't change the fact that you didn't think of what we would feel, especially your wife. Man, I was already willing to trade myself in your place earlier knowing about who's that person is. I was the last person with you chaeng, I never felt so guilty about it" Lisa bursted out her emotion
"I'm sorry" the blonde replied
"Just...don't put yourself in that situation next time, okay?"
"With the things happening between Jennie and I at the moment, I will never"
"Good"
...
Jennie is pacing back and forth after the doctor passed by the COO's room to inform her about her wife
