Avalon's POV

"Anything?" I questioned Dumbledore as I entered his office.

He eyed me and shook his head carefully.
"Not yet Avalon."

It's been four months of me coming in to his office daily, questioning if i've gotten any mail.
Four months ago, I wrote back to Tom Riddle and owled him.
I've slowly started to realize he's never going to write me back.

So it went from me checking for mail daily, to weekly, to monthly, until i've lost hope in receiving a letter back.

The Great Hall

I roamed my eyes around the Great hall to see Draco chatting with Blaise by the Slytherin table.

I wish everybody could see Blaise for who he is,
A narcissistic dick who slut shames girls because he can't get any.

Sounds a lot like my brother, except my brother gets all the girls in Hogwarts.
I don't get it, what girls at Hogwarts see in him. He just recently started pulling them, ever since he turned 14.

Meanwhile the only reason guys are ever "interested" in me is because of my body, which just developed this year.
It's quite sad really.

Suddenly, I saw Blaise waving to me as he stood with my brother in the distance.
Blaise and I haven't talked since Christmas, four months ago.
When he kept touching me, I told him to stop, and he didn't.
Fuck him.

I made it clear to him that I was annoyed of him and wanted nothing to do with him, so I flipped him off and walked towards Fred and George.
Ever since they stood up for me that day on Christmas, i've become best friends with them.

"Hey guys." I beamed as I made my way over to them.

"You know if you get caught sitting at the Gryffindor table you'll get detention right?" George snickered as he scooted to the left so I could sit.
I sat myself next to George and Fred was sitting in front of us.

"I know but I don't care." I grinned as I started munching on my fries.

"Ooo daredevil Avalon, I like it." Fred teased as he ate one of my fries.

"Shut up." I snickered.

"Have you gotten a letter back yet?" George questioned.

Fred started to do a drumroll on the table, until I quickly glared at him and he stopped.

"Nope." I sighed as I looked back at George. "I don't think I will."

"Aw come on, don't say that," George reassured me as he tried comforting me. "I'm sure he'll write back soon."

"Probably not." Fred shrugged as he continued munching on my fries.

George quickly stepped on Fred's shoe under the table and shot him an annoyed look.
"Don't listen to Fred." George sighed.

"I'm only joking." Fred chuckled.

"It's okay guys, I know he probably won't write me back. I just feel so dumb for writing to him, he's probably so freaked out by it.." I muttered as I started panicking. "What the fuck did I do?!"
