The next day

My heart pounded in my throat as I was preparing myself to tell Draco about father coming home. How was he going to react? Cry..smile.. punch a wall? I guess I'll just have to wait and see. I knew he was finishing class soon, and he'd be on his way to our dorm straight away.

So I sat on my bed, fidgeting with my fingers as I picked at my skin, overanalyzing what was going to happen when we go to see father.

What was he going to tell us? He's sorry for leaving? Pathetic. And I bet mother already accepted his apology without hesitation. Perhaps he's even started a new family somewhere else..

My thoughts were soon interrupted at the sound of the door being slammed open, and Draco storming in. He rushed over to his closet and pulled out his luggage, rolling it out and zipping it open.

"Draco what the hell are you doing?!" I howled as I swiftly stood up from my bed and hurried over to him.

He ignored me and started placing items in his luggage like he was in a rush, his face all red and tense. He paid no attention to me and pretended like I wasn't even there.

"Draco?" I gulped at the sight of his face so upset and resentful.

He stopped for a moment, trying to control himself. He seemed as if he was ready to lash out on anyone who came across him.

"You didn't tell me." he ran his fingers through his hair as his eyes fumed into mine with fury.

"What are you talking about?" I mumbled with a shaky voice.

I knew exactly what he was talking about.

"You knew father came home and you didn't care to tell me." he glared into my eyes as he held one of his trousers crumpled up in his hands.

"Draco, calm down. I was going to tell you just now until you came storming in like a lunatic." I stammered as I kept my eyes steady on his.

"Oh don't start with me right now." he grunted as he continued putting clothes into his luggage.

Short-temper runs in the family, but Draco doesn't know how to control it. He lashes out on people and doesn't think before he does something he'll later regret.

"How did you even find out?" I speculated as I walked closer to him.

"Mother called. She asked me if I knew about the news already and wanted to know if I was okay. So I told her 'no actually, I don't know the news." he mocked in a high pitched voice. "She told me about father and she said you were suppose to tell me." he sighed as he finished packing and zipped the luggage up.

"Why are you packing?" I questioned as I peered down at his black suitcase with a little snake imprinted on the side.

He rolled his eyes and scoffed at me.

"Why the fuck do you think? We're going to see father right now. I want to see what excuse he comes up with now." he grunted as he made his way over to the door.

He stopped before leaving, and placed one hand on the side of the door as he slowly turned to face me. He squinted his eyebrows together and stood there glaring at me like a hawk.

"Where were you last night?" he pondered as he stood by the door, still as a statue.

Suddenly, my body froze up and my cheeks started burning up. Memories of last night rushed into my head, remembering the kiss with Tom and how we went swimming together. I shot my head to the floor and bit my lip, trying to hide a smile from forming onto my lips.
