Leo let out a loud sigh next to me, as he scrolled through his instagram comments.
"What is it?" I asked him as I looked down at his phone.
"Layla," he said.
"I never really asked, but what happened between you two?" I asked him.
"I dunno." He shrugged. "She just was always blaming me for everything. If I get back late from an audition for a movie I'm interested in, it's all my fault that they held me back late." He sighed.
"Is that why you said all that stuff about how she can't 'please you' to the reporter a few months back?"
He nodded slowly in embarrassment and I squeezed his hand tight, to reassure him that it's okay. He smiled up at me and returned his gaze back to his phone.
"She out of nowhere comments 'wish you could've been here'. Like who does that?" He said angrily.
I rubbed his arm comfortingly to get him to calm down as he took deep breaths.
I laid down, as my head was on Leo's chest and one of my legs over top of his. I slowly drifted off to a warm sleep in his arms, on the couch.
