Darius POV

"Happy birthday!" Avery said trying to get on the bed.

"Thank you, baby girl." I helped her up, she jumped on my lap and hugged me tightly.

"I am so excited to give you my present." She said excitedly.

"I want to see it." I said.

"Noo! You have to wait till the party!"

"Okay, okay. Where is Austin?" I asked Avery.

"He is still asleep."

She gave me a peck on the lips and then hid her face in my chest.

I laughed then kissed her head.

She is so cute.

"Happy birthday, dad!" Austin said coming into the room.

"Thanks, buddy." His face scrunched up at the nickname.

He got on the bed and sat beside me.

"Good morning, Austy." Avery said, leaving my lap and hugging Austin.

"Good morning, Avy." Austin said kissing her cheek.

I see how much Austin love Avery, and that makes me so happy.

"Au-Austin! You ca-can't do that!" Avery laughed.

Avery laughed, squirming at the ground as Austin tickled her.

I was standing by the door of the living room, looking at them as they had fun with a grin on my face.

I love when I see them bonding like that.

"D-Daddy! Help!" Avery called for me as she tried to make him stop.

Her face was starting to get bright red so I headed over to them without Austin noticing.

"I am here to protect the princess!" I said picking Austin up and threw him gently on the couch.

"Yees, daddy!" Avery said happily as I started to tickle Austin.

"I am taking my princess's revenge!"

Austin kept laughing not able to say anything.

"It's time to get dressed." I stopped when I saw the time.

"I am gonna go get dressed."

"Let me help you."

"Noo, I am a big girl!" Avery said looking at me with determination in her cute doe eyes.

"Of course, baby, bu-" She ran off before I could say anything

"I am gonna wear the new suit, right?" Austin asked looking hopeful.

"Yeah." I told him.

Avery came into my room as I was putting on the suit jacket.

Avery's dress is so cute, it's pink and has only one shoulder with a cute bow. It flowed from the waist to her knees.

She looked so cute in that dress.

"What do think, daddy?" She asked doing a little twirl.

"You look amazing, baby."

"What do you think?" I asked her.

"You look beautiful, daddy." She said happily.

"It's handsome, baby. Daddy is handsome not beautiful." I teased her laughing a little.
