After a short walk through the tower, you arrived at the door that leat to the cell of Loki. On the left and the right of the door, there were S.H.I.L.D. agents. You gave them a nod as the door opened. Inside, there were even more agents that watched you enter. Also, the man in the glass room noticed your presence.

You rounded his room not taking your eyes off of him. You observed his attitude, the way his face moved while reading. There wasn't a move you didn't notice. After you rounded the glass cage two times you stopped. Your eyes were directed at the man in front of you. His attention was caught as you cleared your throat. His emerald green eyes shoot up from his book and landed on your (E/C) ones.

"So this is the God of mischief..." you stated. Loki closed his book and stood up. He crossed the room and stood in front of you, the only thing between you two was a thin layer of glass.

"I am indeed and whom do I owe this honor?" the black-haired man asked without a single emotion on his sharp face.

"My name is (Y/N)," you said with a small nod. A decent smirk played on your lips as you looked at the man in front of you in the eyes.

"Verry well then, (Y/N). What is the occasion for your visit?" the prince asked.

"I wanted to know who Thor talked about all this time..." you said while taking your chin between your index finger and thumb. A spark flashed in his eyes and you saw that you were right. Thor had told you so many things about how Loki was, that you had planned how you could get to him.

"So... my brother talked about me?" Loki asked after a minute of silence.

"At times he does," you answered honestly. Thor always spoke positively about him, even if he was aware of his brother's crimes. Loki looked at his feet. For a moment he seemed to be deep in thoughts but as he looked up he turned cold again.

"I don't believe you," he said his eyes cold as stone.

"You think I came because Thor sent me. He didn't. I made him take a break from you. He's not going to come. You made the last person that cared for you give up on you." And with that, you left.

---- Time skip ----

It had been days since you first went to Loki. Since that you daily went to his cell. You always sat there in a chair and read. Loki had never spoken. He just watched you or read himself.

Today was just the same. You had your book under your arm and entered the room. The chair has stayed at the same spot that you had left it the day before. After you sat down Loki closed his book and stood up. He came as near as he could and looked at you. As always you decided to ignore him. He would watch you as long as you sat there.

"(Y/N)," he said. You looked up in surprise. He hadn't spoken to you since the first day. You closed your book again and smiled innocently.

"Yes Loki?" you asked.

"Why are you here? Day for day." You were straddled by his question for a moment.

"Well... I wanted to know if Thor was right about you. I wanted to know if you were really the way the rumors tell," you said.

"And? Did you see what you wanted to see?" Loki's voice turned even colder than before if that was even possible.

"I did see what I expected but it isn't what everybody else sees in you." It was true. You were told that Loki would be a man with no emotions other than anger, bitterness and the lust for revenge. But you saw that he also had other emotions. In the first moment you walked into the room you saw that he also had a soft side but he would never confess that. Also, the things everybody else told you he was, were reasoned by being hurt. You knew way too well how a broken heart was able to change you. You noticed a confused look on his face and smiled shortly.

"You may know that the people tell that you are heartless and not to be truthed. I on the other hand think you didn't get the chance to prove that you are worth being truthed." Your voice sounded sure of what you said and your (E/C) eyes were trained on the green ones of the man in front of you. Without your notice, you had stood up and were now walking up to the glassdoor.

"Miss (Y/L/N). What are you up to?" one of the agents in the room asked you.

"You and the others may want to leave the room. I can handle this on my own," you replied with a glare to the agent that had spoken. He looked at his colleagues and left without another word. Your one hand was near your stylus and your short sword. The other one reached for the keyboard. With possible outcomes running through your head, you tipped in the password for Loki's cell. The door opened and now nothing stood between Loki and you. The black-haired man in front of you raised an eyebrow questioning your behavior. Now not so sure of your actions you decided to sit back down and keep on reading. To your surprise, the Asgardian prince stayed in his cell. He got himself a chair and placed it in the doorway.

The two of you stat there snd read the next hours. What the both of you didn't know was that there were people that kept an eye on the both of you.
