You were talking with Tom as Spike was running around the stable. It was always nice to talk to him. His humor was refreshing, and his character attracted you in some way. You were laughing at one of Tom's jokes as your phone went off. On the screen, the number of Stark Tower shone and you excused yourself, not moving out of the box.

"Hello?" you asked friendly.

"Aah (Y/N). I have a question, where are you?" Thor's booming voice haled through your phone. He must have asked F.R.I.D.A.Y. to call you.

"I'm out like every Thursday morning..." You stated lightly confused.

"Oh right... mm... Is- is Loki with you?" he asked nervously. Your heart speeded up as you realized what his voice impleaded.

"Is he not in the tower?" you asked, concern lacing in your voice.

"No. Or at least I didn't find him..." the God of thunder trailed off.

"Did you look in the library? In the garden?" You asked, grabbing the items you had used to clean Mistral to put them back.

"In the garden... It may be an idea..." Thor said. You heard how he started to walk through the tower.

"I'll be right back," you stated as you excused yourself from Tom.

After you rounded the corner and hurried back to Stark Tower a hidden figure disappeared in a small green cloud.

---- Loki's POV ----

I appeared again in the garden just in time. Thor came around the corner as I started to walk slowly around the small area.

"Ah Loki, there you are. Do you want to eat breakfast with us?" he asked a smile on his face. I nodded and followed him while getting lost in my thoughts. Who was this man and what did he have to do with (Y/N)? My mind raced as I tried to put together the pieces. Was he her boyfriend?

I found myself bumping into my brother. He had stopped and turned to open the door to the kitchen.

"Is everything all right?" Thor asked concern clear in his face. I shrugged my shoulder in response. I couldn't ask him even if he may knew it and even if he were my brother. I just couldn't.

I followed him into the kitchen and sat down. Just then, (Y/N) rushed through the door, a light pink coloring her face.

--- Time skip ---

It had been a week since I found out where (Y/N) went when she left the tower. Over the week, I got a plan of how I could get nearer to find out which relationship the two of them had. As always in the morning, (Y/N) got up, got dressed, told me goodbye, and left. After I was sure that she would not come back, I teleported into the stable and decided to walk into the first empty box. Over the door, there hung a sign with the name 'Trioblaid' on it. It seemed like it was new, but it appeared to be matching. I thought of which horse I should become. After a moment, a memory appeared in my mind. As a kid, I had often drawn a horse with eight legs and raven fur. I knew it would be conspicuous if I had eight legs but decided to use this image. I felt my body shift. My arms and legs became longer and stronger and I saw how my vision changed. After I got used to my new form, I heard footsteps.

---- Your POV ----

You entered the stable and came to your routine. You brushed Mistral, Eureus, Scatter and Sky and brought them out onto the paddock. As you wanted to walk Cap to the other horses, you noticed that a new horse was standing in the box near the entrance. 'Trioblaid' was standing on the sign and a deep black horse was standing behind the bars.

After you looked at the stallion for a moment, you tore your eyes from the fascinating creature and brought the light brown horse by your side out onto the green meadow

After you looked at the stallion for a moment, you tore your eyes from the fascinating creature and brought the light brown horse by your side out onto the green meadow. After you cleaned the box of Cap, just the way you had done with the other boxes, you took the bucket with the brushes and entered the box with the black horse in it. The animal standing in front of you was tall and looked strong. Its mane was long and shimmered in the light.

What really got your attention where the horse's eyes. They were bright green and seemed to glow in contrast to the black fur. You put down the bucket and raised your hand carefully. You knew how to handle an unknown horse and to get its trust. You had to be soft and slow. To your surprise, the horse mugged your hand after a moment. You ran your right hand up and down the front of its face as your other hand ran over its neck. A tickle ran over your skin at how soft and velvety the hairs were.

You were silent for a moment, taking in the energy that seemed to pulse with every breath and every heartbeat. Something about this beautiful being drew every inch of you in. After some moments, you heard the familiar barking and knew that Spike and Tom were approaching the stable.

Pulled from your trance, you took the brush and carefully brushed the beauty in front of you.

"Hey, (Y/N)," Tom greeted as he propped up his elbows on the box's door. You threw a short glace his way, flashing him a smile before directing your attention back to the brush in your hand.

"Trioblaid, I thought he should arrive this afternoon..." Tom stated but you didn't care. you were too fascinated by the way the horse glistened nearly green whenever you ran the brush over the toned structures.

"Where is it from?" you spoke finally.

"The horse? It comes from overseas. We found it in Scottland," Tom stated, his eyes following your movements.

After some more moments of silence, Tom spoke up again. "(Y/N)... would you- would you maybe - you don't have to if you don't want to - but I wanted to ask you if you... would go out with me?" His voice was filled with nervousness and he stuttered slightly. You stopped in your tracks. You were expecting something like this for some time now but didn't want to be confronted with this situation.

You took a deep breath and Trioblaid stared to triple on his place. You didn't like this one bit.

"Tom..." you trailed off softly, turning to face him. "I don't know how to say that but..." You ran one of your hands over your hair. "I... don't like you in that way. It's not that you aren't a cute guy but... I just don't like you in that way..." you managed to say.

Tom nodded approvingly.

"If you are okay with this... I would like to ask if there is someone else? I mean, we were so close all this time..." Tom asked, a look of embarrassment on his face.

You placed your hands on his shoulders and smiled at him lightly.

"If you really want to know, there is indeed someone I'm seeing but it's not the main reason why I'm not going out with you. To be honest, I see you more like my best friend and brother," you stated a light blush taking place on your cheeks but it soon disappeared as a hurt look took place on your face.
