My fellow bullies spitefully chanted at my shaking body that was being forcefully pushed past the caution tape.

My eyes immediately squeezed shut getting ready for the impact of my face hitting the concrete ground, and gosh did it hurt.

Tears immediately welled up in my eyes but I refused to let them get any past that.

"Look at 'em he'll probably wouldn't even last another second here at deadly manor!"

"Yeeeaaaa let's leave him here for the ghost to take him!"

Loud obnoxious chuckles filtered the air as well as distant foot steps before my hearing couldn't hear nothing but the cold wind whistling through the trees and feathering across my skin.

Low sobs escaped between my lips while my shivering body decided to stand up from the cold surface.

My crumpled sleeve that was bunched under my fingers reached up to my face to wipe away the sorrowful eyes before they gazed upon the shagged old wooden house.

D-deadly manor is what they called it ...

Right?...

My curious gaze traveled up and down the any-second crumpled building before I snapped my vision to my dirt covered converses.

I-I should just go home..

A humorless chuckle escaped my pink lips.

Yea as if you could call the horrid group home I take refuge at a "home."

A sigh left my rasp throat before I brung my jaw up to look eye level with the suppose "haunted house."

My teeth uncertainly bit into my bottom lip while the bottom of my shoes scraped against the floor so I was soon inches away from the porch steps.

I guess I will be seeing if I can last any longer than a second here.

My head turned back one last time as eyes darted back & forth around the deserted dark neighborhood before I let out a well needed deep breath and made my way closer inside the curiosity spiked home.
